a child was disciplined too much on one instant asked God for this wish .... God said Thatthaasthu and whoosshhhh .... mommy was gone. Child lives a guilty life hoping someday when he meets mommy she would forgive the child for the innocent wish. After all how can a mother not forgive.
The essence of the poem was that we tend to find fault with our parents, but never look at ourselves. Are we perfect? Didn't we make any MISTAKE?
Sheesh ! Has happened before on this forum. Maybe have a disclaimer at the end saying these feelings/ thoughts are someone else’s, NOT MINE. Specially when it involves wishing harm to the madre or objectifying women.
Never mind. You have the poetic license to go whichever way your muse takes you. Even Picasso had a blue period. Had he been a musician, he’d have sung them blues.
But what kind of a person wishes their own parent to die? Ungrateful, narrow-minded, uncompassionate? Nobody's perfect but not everyone is this vindictive.
