    Dear Suma ,

Best School I am not too sure .. Becoz I am of the opinion that the basic education anywhere in US is not so good. However .. if you want to stay in downtown then I suppose it is very expensive. My husband works in cambridge too but we stay 9 miles away from Boston as this place is less crowded and cheaper. There is a place called Quincy near Boston and that has a indian community appartments.. It is called Faxon Commons and belv me it is like a mini india.. The rent there for a two bedroom appartment is 1400 bucks I guess ( i have few frens who live ther ) They are yet to put their kids to school this Sep. I have heard of a pre school near to that. you could google the name. The bus facilities are not so good in Boston and you must have a car. This school is a short drive is what I have heard. Hope this elps in some way. Best Luck and Welcome to Boston !!! It is a lovely place to live.. belv me !! :)

Check with jefferson hills in worcester rd which is near to Westborough. 1 BHK cost 1300. Indian stores and pre schools were nearby.

    Hi Ladies,
I am Priya and currently live in Boston. I am considering moving to Quincy since I heard there are many Indians there and hope to connect with the community. I have a 5 year old daughter whose is in K2 now.
Appreciate if anyone can share the neighborhood info like a good apartment to rent, schools and after school information and commuting means.

    Thanks in advance,
    Priya

    Hello All,

We just moved to Boston and have found a place in Quincy. I have a 2 year old girl. Are there any playgroups that meet on a regular basis? Can you recommend a good daycare center..

Are there also any IL meets that happen in the area since there seems to be a huge indian community here?

    Thank you,
    Anu

Please visit your local public library. Check for toddler activities like story time and you could probably meet people from your neighborhood there. Check Sulekha website too. Just sharing some general information applicable anywhere in US.
