    Hi All,

Today morning I just mixed besan and milk and applied on my face. My four year old daughter woke up by then and wanted the same to be applied on her face. Actually I didnt expect her to wake up so early. Because of her constant nagging, I applied to her too.

But feeling very guilty, Is it okay?

Besan and milk face pack is not harmful. You need have to worry for the same.

@creativemumma as long as the besan is fresh and it is with milk it is fine.

but please be firm. she cannot throw tantrums for lipsticks ans facepacks. tell her you will allow things that are allowed for her. take help from her paed, id you are not able to make her understand.

and be consistent. don’t give in. i know it is going to be hard especially in the morning but make it clear to her that a no means no.

@creativemumma my dd used to ask for my things and slowly made her understand that its not good for her skin, that she is still small.... she listens to it, ofcourse after many failed attempts did she listen.... have patience

I prepare a bath powder for my dd at home
Green moong, oats, red masur dhal, badam, dry orange peels, dry rose petals, dry neem leaf and kasturi manjal(optional)
Sun dry all the things and grind to fine powder and store in an airtight container....

    How to use the bathpowder
Take a clean dry spoon and take 2 tsp of bath powder in a bowl, mix with milk/curd/rose water or normal water to a semi thick paste....

Wet the body and apply the paste leave for 2 mins and wash with normal water....
Makes the skin soft, shiny and glowing....

I misread the title as 'Facebook for 4 Year Old. Feeling Guilty Already!!' : )

Long ago I read in an article that children need not be required to share all their toys and things. When their friends come over, or before friends come over, it is OK for child to put away a few toys that she doesn't want to share. Even between siblings, from an early age, children can be allowed to have a few special things they don't have to share if they don't want to. With moderation so they don't mark all their toys as not for sharing, and being taught how to nicely communicate that a thing is not available for sharing. This practice can be followed and young children taught that there are some things that belong to mom, dad or grown-ups and not for children. If child has some things that are hers only and off limits for others, she will more readily understand the concept of some things being off limits for her.

Mix some lemon juice and broken wheat and gently rub his knees with this mixture. It defintely improves the colour. I tried this on to my sons knees.
