    Hallo friends,

Can you help me out to decide -
Which style bathroom/toilet style is preferred in common bathroom -the commode style or indian style?
(Personally we in family prefer the indian style.)
So which one should be installed in the private bathroom? so that it doesnot become uncomfortable for us in future....
    Please reply

Indian style is the best, but if you do western style then also you can buy a small stool to put in front to raise up the feet. Your intestines and the rectum will thank you!

Western style is always comfortable and as we grow older it's hard to squat all the way down . No wonder even older generations like my parents prefer western toilet . Western toilet is also safer for little kids and potty training is so much easier than the Indian ones . You can always buy squatty potty stool if you are in the US . Something similar maybe available in India too .

When the kids are very small there are so many accessories available. When they can go on their own ,only Indian toilets are best . In Yoga practices we have to bend our knees in so many ways. Unless kids are trained to sit on their knees, as in IT, there will not be flexibility in the knees. Western toilets are definitely needed for senior people. In IT, it is very difficult for them to get up rather than sitting down. There is a possibility of fall also while doing this.In some houses i have seen both side by side in large bathrooms.

It depends on you. First think about the guest who will be visiting you often. If they are elders, plan Western type in common bathroom. If you have no problem with Indian type install it in private room.
