    Can single ladies wear sindoor in hopes of getting good husband (I have fringes to cover it)

    Just like lot of single ladies celebrate Karva Chauth, in hopes of attracting good husband.

    Hey OP, I have been reading your poems & posts& feel like you shd ask ILs for info on some vrat-pooja for a good husband that young girls in India do. I am not sure if there is an exact correlation there or if it really works, but it surely couldn't hurt. Also mataji prayers maybe. Suggest you ask on a different post. It's possible you will get some smart ass responses, but if you are really hitting desperation levels, no harm in asking. Good luck darling, I m rooting for you .

    Doesn't sindoor actually signify you being married? Wearing it out in public may send out the wrong message to people who are looking for matches.

    There are several ways to look for a good husband. Why resort to wearing sindoor and fiddle with the age old symbolic traditions of married women . Next thing you will see single girls wearing mangal sutra.
