    The tragedy of life isn't
Gaining weight of a complacent wife
And carrying a baby that was never meant
    To be

    The tragedy of life is
    Hatefully rejecting the gifts
    Meant for
    Thee

    The tragedy of life isn't
    Having a spare tire
    Around your belly

    The tragedy of life is
    Having a resolve
    Made of jelly

State of one's mind is a
    Pendulum
    Swinging gracefully
    To and fro

    The tragedy of life isn't
    A monster disturbing the
    Pendulum
    While pretending to be a
    Bro

    The tragedy of life is
    Continually pushing
    Continually heaving the
    Pendulum
    To and fro

    The tragedy of life
    Is not being grounded
Is not having your wings clipped

    The tragedy of life
    Is being gifted golden wings
    And refusing to fly

Why do we refuse to use our
    Brains
    To study

    Yet we use our
    Brains
    To get angry
    To get vengeful
    To get hateful

    Let the mind sleep
    Let the heart weep
    Yet the soul knows
    Thou peace to keep
