    Hi Ladies,

Husband and I will be Travelling UK and Europe for a month. It is our dream vacation which is meticulously planned.

For accommodation we have booked Airbnb homes so we will have the option to cook at home and save some money.

We will be flying into London (Gatwick) from Chennai. My question is will I be able to bring spices, pre packed food items etc?

Here is what I have in mind:
    - poha
    - semonila (rava)
    - pre packed MTR food packs
    - rice
    - Dhals
    - typical Indian spices for curries/dhals
    - noodle packets
    - cereals

If we can't we will have to buy everything in London and I def want to avoid it.

    Please advice.

    Thanks in advance!

You can. Pack them in check in luggage. Split them evenly in all suitcases. You will not face any issues generally.

    Thank you.

Will do that. What about nuts like almonds, walnuts and Brazil nuts? Bought in Singapore. Are there any restrictions?

As long as I know , you should not bring dairies like cheese, dry fish etc. No problem for nuts. Generally they wont check the check in luggage. I've brought even oil last time.
