My dear Ladies, am attempting to write one more story. Have just tried to continue with the characters in my previous story. Anyway it doesn't matter much if you have not read my previous one.
Have just started writing very few episodes. Posting the first episode today. Would be happy to read your thoughts on it.

Episode 1

Lekha was in deep sleep and her alarm rang. She opened her eyes slowly without any hustle and bustle. It was her habit to set the alarm 15 minutes before so that she can enjoy those few minutes of half sleep in bed.

She opened her eyes slowly. Her long satin robe caressed her body gently. She moved away the window curtains and let the warm sunshine fall on her sleepy face. She always loved doing it. The warm rays fell on her sleepy face and she smiled sleepily.

She got up from the bed slowly and brushed her teeth. She saw her face in the mirror. The mirror displayed a face with the so called perfect facial symmetry. Lekha just gazed the mirror for few seconds and came out of her room.

Lekha got down the stairs and sat on the dining table. Her mom came out with a glass of milk. Lekha had the milk and took the newspaper and walked towards the lawn. She sat on the cane swing with the newspaper and her dad came back after his daily routine of walking.

“Good morning dear!” He waved her hand as he closed the house gate.

“Good morning dad” Lekha replied with a bright smile on her face.

Her dad came to the lawn after refreshing himself and sat beside Lekha.

Both sat beside each other discussing few things about all the worldly happenings which they read from the newspaper. Lekha always kept her updated with all the current events and her dad was the main reason for that. He use to discuss all the worldly happenings with her and that kindled her interest towards that.

There were done with the discussion and Lekha folded the newspaper and lied on her dad’s lap.

He smiled at her and ran his fingers on her head.

“I am not going to office today! Going to be like this till evening” – She winked at her dad.

“But I need to go.” Saying this he got up at once carefully leaving her head on the swing and started running with a laugh.

“Dad!!! You are too bad!” Saying this Lekha ran behind him laughing and shouting…

After playing for few minutes, both started getting ready for work.

Lekha had bath and wore a pista green salwar suit. The white embroidery design near the neck added beauty to the subtle green color. She combed her hair and braided it to a single plait. Her round beautiful face was beautified with a little face powder and a kohl pencil. She took a single white stoned bindi and kept it in between her eyebrows.

She searched her hand bag as she heard her mom calling her name.

“Yeah!! Am coming….” She hanged her dupatta on her right shoulder and ran down with her handbag.

Her dad was waiting for her and both enjoyed a hearty breakfast.

“Ok maa. Bye” saying this she wore her light brown wedge sandals.

Her dad took his two wheeler and Lekha sat behind him waving towards her mom.

Her dad dropped her in the bus terminus and started towards his office. He heard his phone ringing and he stopped his two wheeler under a shady tree.

“Yeah….We are looking for a good guy. We just started searching. Yeah you can tell us in case if you have any one among your relatives.”

“Right. Yes. We came to know about a proposal recently and they have said that they are coming home this Sunday. Lets see.”

“Okay. Sure. thank you.” He hanged his phone.

‘Giving the girl to a right hand’, not that easy- Lekha’s dad thought. My little girl has grown so big that finally the day is getting closer to send her to other’s house.

Is she really a woman now?! But why am I always able to see her only as a small girl. He questioned himself as he parked his two wheeler in his office campus.

There was a small vinayagar idol near the parking.

“God! You have to get that right person for my daughter” he clasped his hand and stood closing the eyes.
