    even men could resign after 3 months of joining becuase they got better offer....but it didnt pinch us because it is accepted and considered part of profession but pregnancy is still considered a personal issue not something which organization should deal with..hence it becomes problem of females only....

    every married couple must have kids....they dont think whether they want to be parents or not, or they have some other priorities in life ....i have yet to meet an indian couple who doesnt have children out of choice....

    Borrowing books. Most neighbours/friends have never returned the books to me. The rest of them return the book in a really bad condition. Often highlighted with markers or scribble some unnecessary stuff.

    One more thing.
    Keeping our house spic and span. Throwing the dust in front of the other's house or in the vacant land. Not segregating waste.

    I have seen people doing this. but we are improving in this area a lot. Now in big cities, in good soceity flats. there is proper garbage management. In small cities also in many colonies, everyday garbage man comes to collect the garbage.
    So hope for swach bharat is still on :)...

    Indians and standing in line :rolleye:
    I really don't understand why Indians hate to stand in line and wait for their turn.
    This incident happened very recently.
    I was in an ATM line.. there was only one ATM working as the other one's flooring was getting fixed. Yes, it was a pain.. as the woman in front of me were having our bitching session about the same reason.
    Right, when the woman ahead of me turn to use the ATM came I was accompanied by a fellow Indian. The min she came in, she started to push me to use the free ATM and I kinda refused. She jumped to use the ATM even with people who were working on the floor where right there and the workers told her not to step on the floor. She stood in a weird angle to operate the ATM.

    I had enough time to finish our bitching session after the woman in front of me did her business and still walk away completing my ATM business where the Indian woman was still struggling. She could have just waited patiently for her turn without creating such complexities for everyone.

    And what will you do if an older Indian lady maybe in her 70s cut you off @blindpup10? I was next in the line in the lotto shop, i then noticed an elegantly dressed Indian lady in her silk saree looking at the long line. She came up to me smiling and asked if its ok if she can just check her lotto as the checker was on the side of the counter. As soon as the one infront of me left, she just went in and took my place.

    It was very irritating but how can I get mad at somebody that age???

    OMG, yes. Some of my cousins still do this, and so does my husband. I feel so bad for the kids, because they are forced to perform on call, and ignored when they want to share on their own.
