    I have a little more time on hands than usual. : ) So a fizool ka (time waste) question:

    Is it just me, or does this smiley look a little 'lighter in the upper chamber' , I mean, it looks kind of like a smile with a lag..? Or, a 'perpetual' smile? A smile with no reason..? Without more ado and with apologies to the said smiley, here is the smiley in question:

    It always seems the super polite version of 'I told you so' smiley to me! :buenrollo: Me a fan neither. Meh :hollering: (This one actually says 'meh' isn't? Oh my! The things we imagine! :laughing:)

    It's like a goldfish trying to smirk. Reminds me of some character from Wodehouse I can't recall exactly. Ohwell.. we tried to get the old emoticons back.....

    Yes! I also noticed Amica's smileys and tried to see from which website, it showed source as IL media.. I didn't get it.. though was confident a millennial would sooner or later explain. : ) : ) : )

    @sokanasanah Dr S, need some input. One of my resolutions for this year is to write better. I've made a deal with @Cimorene. She is expecting a 2000 word essay on a subject of my choosing by the end of the year. I currently write a 500 word passage a day. I need,

    - advice on how to go about this systematically
    - recommendations on what to read
    - how to assess progress?
    - resources?
    - anything you feel I ought to know

    Thanks! Posting it here instead of PM as it could be useful to any and all interested parties.
