    @Sparkle,

    Thank you for nominating SGBV's post Problem With Younger Cosister. She shared a wonderful perspective of accepting people as is. It is clear from her various posts that she takes a lot of pride in what she does whether it is at work or at home, hard or easy and important or routine. Every person is so different and unique and every life has its own challenges and opportunities. Forming the habit of being active is an incredible way to achieve happiness besides success. Accepting circumstances as is also important and SGBV has established that clearly in her post.

    Dear Vijiakka,

    Thank you for nominating Priyabaghel's Postpartum Emotions - The Struggle Is Real!. What a delightful read this is! She articulated the emotional roller coaster of a mother during the postpartum period so very well. It is a very important information especially considering that many women are left alone to look after themselves and the family. Asking for help from close family members is a very important feedback she has given for the benefit of new mothers. Her advice to the fathers is invaluable as well, as men tend to not understand the stress associated with postpartum emotions well. It is difficult to explain that to the husband unless he understands the emotions well on his own and react to help.

    "You could be not perfect but for your newborn you are perfect" is a stunning line in this thread. There are so many practical lessons in this invaluable post for the new mothers. Thanks again for bringing this thread to the FP section.

    Dear Viswa,

    Thank you for your wonderful response to my snippet. It is still a wonder as to how I could post a snippet in the middle of non stop power cuts and also cuts from my ISP. Still left with a dizzy feeling, we are all trying to pull out from the nightmare.

    Hi Viswa
    How are you?
    Yes, it's been quite a while since our last interaction.
    I clearly remember your humorous snippet where you shared your experience going to the hair salon.

    Thank you for your kind words. Your compliments have raised the bar and I now have to live up to the high standard that you have placed on me.

    Yes, there was a time I resented managing the home.
    We have a saying as "Seiyum thozhiley deivam". This and many other such values had me change my approach and I began enjoying taking care of my family. I look at taking care of my family and home as a privilege rather than an imposition

    My humor muse has gone into hibernation for a long time; when it wakes up, I'll write again in snippets.

    Regards
    K

    Dear Vijiakka and Bhargavi,

    Thank you for nominating Manju's A Tale To Tell. I am so very happy to see Manju back in action to write such a wonderful snippet in a poetic language. Like Agatha, she appears to consider every aspect of life whether it is pain or pleasure as an experience. A very interesting thread and I will give my response directly in the thread.
