This is a troll right?! Crowdsourcing your sons homework. It's absolutely wrong to ask everyone here to write an essay for your son so he can win! If you or your sons has already written an essay and asking an opinion on the essay is doable.

Why are you even doing your sons homework? It's not about winning...
it's about writing, learning and building his character. It looks like the topic is of some interest that your son for age 10 can form an opinion on.You should help him build an opinion rather than saying "he is brilliant, can pursue and present anything easily".

If I were you I would ask my child to think about the topic and collect his opinion and help my child do the work.

i have done already the part of it but i couldn't cut short.it has exceeded 3 pages just for introduction and 1 example.i hope it will exceed 15 pages when i finish this.
and moreover last year i let my kid do his own thing but it was so amateur while other kids parents'effort was alot.as u said i believed winning is not the deal.but it didn't work as we are in Egypt nobody follow the rules.so we were odd one out as i trusted that was not fair to indulge in kids'competition.scenario was not same as i expected.i have already wrote an essay.i don't know whether am allowed to attach it here.and as i said it's just a draft of introduction and the beginning.is this topic apt for 10yrs old?i don't feel so.how does 10 yr old kid have an opinion on impulsive purchase, consumer behaviour etc.,this is my first attempt in preparing.so i wished for good start by getting help from Ilites.
and dear pls get me clear..mere writing an essay for my son is not gonna let him win...it's not essay writing to present someone's work and to win.it's PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION.its responsibility is totally of my kid to prepare and present with good body language and modulations where needed.am asking fo r anyone who wishes to be a part for good start.
when their school announced last month for essay writing and announced for spot topic,my son bagged 1st prize.so you should know why i said he is brilliant.
and thanks for your volunteering in parenting tip and the concern you have on my kid.I hope atleast as a mother I have little MORE concern about character building and personality development of my kid ,than you.

Hmm So you have already worked on your sons's homework- yet you still want us to write an essay.Because you are not confident on how to edit your work. You could try using cut copy paste if you have written the essay on MS word doc or you can type it or you can take a pic and upload it. There you go given you 3 options.

Your son's essay is supposed to be amateur because he is a kid. You should encourage him to write better and polish his work. It doesn't matter where you live competition is everywhere- you can't spoon feed your child just coz of competition and he has to win.

Well you asked us to write an essay for your son so he can win. Didn't you? Didn't it bother you then that is something allowed or not allowed?
So, you think this topic is not in the league of 10 year old. So where did this topic come from? In which class is your son supposed to make the public speech? Wouldn't the teacher have at least had a story told on an impulsive shopper? or books read on the topic?
Why wouldn't you consider educating what an impulsive shopping is to your child and maybe listen what your child has to say about it.

Well, lady any person who can read and practice speech can adapt a good body language, voice modulation and with good memory, the prize is in your bag. The main stuff is in the material. So honey, don't lecture about what your 10-year-old has to go through.
As a 10-year-old growing up 90's my class had to participate being on the debate team and also do loads of public speeches.

Do I know your son? Do I know you? Then sorry of course, I don't know what you or your son's achievements are.

If you cant take a simple opinion which isnt about exactly what you asked for... then you shouldn't come to an online forum and ask people here to do work for you.

Better pay a tutor in India and get your essay.I am sure as a mother your intentions are good, but dont have to offend people because they have an opinion which isnt matching yours.

This happens in many places -- parents doing the work for the kids in competitions and for even regular school projects. It is hard to decide what to do. If one does the right thing and doesn't help child beyond a little guidance, surely child won't win. Then, child sees other kids winning who obviously got too much help from parents. How do you explain that to a kid? And how do you answer the follow-up questions.

About your specific question - help with the essay, you may want to get help from an essay forum or from writers who do this for money. In the U.S. I have seen such services on craigslist (yes, to write an essay for my child! go on, judge me!). So, there are essay help websites and people who advertise their services on craigslist.

The topic is a little unsuitable for 10 yr olds, so it is difficult to suggest arguments and counter arguments that a kid might have.

Ri- Parents doing their child's work is acceptable but come on the OP is asking us to do the work for her 10-year-old child-- seriously?!! Crowdsourcing for opinion is different than actually writing an essay.

BP, she was asking help with ideas on the topic and looking for way to attach or post the essay she has so far. Anyway, I've been through so many essays, competitions and everything with two kids. I am really jaded with this whole competition process and how entries are judged. If a parent actually gets an essay written by a professional or by folks like us, I won't judge [pun unintended]. Though I never used the craigslist service I talked about!

On an "ideal" level, I understand your outrage.

thanks ms.rihana for standing in my shoes ...so convincing word..i was juz hunting for ideas.i don't want to take individual essays regardless of payments.i thought of getting tips and ideas from multiple minds and clubbing.but when i see some rude replies.i really felt very bad.but your words are soothing and informative.you really deserve to be a moderator which shows the reputation of indusladies.
i have seen many people asking for craft works' how tos in indusladies and imitating the same and they excel it and they earn by conducting workshops and doing orders.if that is right in this craft forum why not getting help from fellow parents from parenting forum for the competition will be an offence.
    thank you once again dear
