At any point of time, there is at least one place where it is morning, and one member reading dear Vijima's snippets or thinking about them. There is a serenity to these that cannot be described. A smooth flowing-ness in which experience and advice are written so simply. I discovered these snippets only about a year ago. Lots of catch up to do. Viji has kindly agreed to write about any thing I ask. So, I'll bravely ask, and wait to read Viji's responses snippets. I guess sometimes, Viji will have to respond with a 'chup kar' , 'be quiet'. : ) What better day to start this than on 9th anniversary of @iyerviji joining IL.
Here goes first set: Viji, What was your favorite subject in school? Why? And which was least favorite? Which is the event from Indian politics that you recall most vividly? Where were you when it happened? Were there any love affairs in your office? Tell us about one. Did you help them? How?
Hi Rihana, Thanks for the thread. When I came back last year the first person I befriended was Viji mami. I always felt the calm peaceful nature her snippets bring me. Since then I try my best to read them and respond. It is definitely a learning experience for me as well. Glad you started this, I will love to hear more from her. Thanks, Vaidehi
What to say I am honoured or I am blessed. Thank you. Hope I will be able to answer your questions. I can write a thread but if someone asks questions I dont know whether I will be able to answer properly. Anyway let me try
My favourite subject was Maths. I felt it was easy to do sums. From 7th to Xth me and my best friend used to study together. Before the teacher teaches us we used to do the sums seeing the example and wait to get excellent from the Teacher. Least favourite was Science.Anyway I used to by heart and was very good in by hearting. I was never interested in Politics. There were some love affairs.three of them succeeded. One friend's lover used to sit near me and ask about her. Actually she and me were not good friend. She used to be jealous of me. She used to come right in time to office and I have come late sometimes but never caught, when once she came late she was caught. But she has struggled a lot in her life. There was another friend who was very close to me. She was going to get married to a guy who was younger than her but she did not like me advising her though I was elder to her. The third love marriage the guy was in less position than the girl. She was a CA. From peon he had become a clerk. Dont know how they got married and that too wthout the permission of their parents andnow they are living happily.
Was the friend with the car? : ) LOL at the crispness of the reply. : ) The aiding and abetting love affairs, I will get to in a bit. : )
Thanks Vaidehi dear for the first response to this thread. Glad to know that I was the first person you befriended. I am honoured. Thanks for the sweet message about me and also for always encouraging me with your lovely feedbacks.
Rihana dear thank you so much for this thread. Now I think I need not write any snippet. The questions you ask and the answers I give is itself a snippet. How can you think in these ways . You have so much in your brains. I dontknow how to put it. But sad only two feedbacks from Vaidehi who always encourages me and gives feedback and also Joylokhi, she also never fails to visit my thread and give a feedback. Hope you will ask questions which I will be able to answer . What is true I have to say na I never read papers or listen to the news. Of late hear sun news because my husband listens. Regarding love affairs I know you next question will be whether I was in love. YOu are right the friend with a car This is a valuable gift from you for my 9th Anniversary in this site, thanks a ton dear
