Alternates For Plastic Bags For Carrying Wet Items

Hi friends,

I want to know if there are any alternatives for plastic bags for carrying wet clothes (swimwear). My home is 15 mins from the pool. I am about to run out of plastic bags and am exploring if there are other sustainable options for this.

I am doing as Sunpa has suggested. I have been reusing a big plastic bag till now, and now it has started showing signs of wear. I still have one more bag left which will hold well for quite some time, I hope. But I am exploring options for when I run out of my last bag. I have stopped buying (as much as possible) stuff from shops which will not give retail it to me in my own bag. Hence the shortage of plastic bags at home. I did not think much about it until I found that I had only one more left

As satchi suggested I will lookout for lined / waterproof bags.

Thanks Sunpa I am trying to do whatever is reasonably possible although it is not easy always. Things like not having plastic bags to tie and throw away the trash. Now I have gotten around it by lining the trash can with newspaper fashioned into a bag, its not perfect, but it works
