    Life is so ironic.
It takes sadness to know happiness,
    noise to appreciate silence and
    absence to value presence.

I am feeling the empty nest which Jayakka had written in her snippet. Since a week there was so much noise in the house, especially with Gopika around it is always lively. Gopika and Pratima are just the opposite, Gopika is very noisy and everyone can make out when she does something wrong , so she is often caught and get shouting from her mother whereas Pratima is very soft spoken , she is also naughty but noone can find out. They have lived in different places so their behaviour is different. Gopika gets her work done. Both are smart . Both wanted to learn to put Rangoli and tried to put in front of the house. Both learnt to make chains. WhBoth play nicely but suddenly there will be some fight. There is a cat in our building and only on the last day both enjoyed playing with the cat and whole day they were down. That cat wanted to come to our house but we did not allow because then it will be difficult .

My younger daughter was here for two weeks but one week she spent with her in laws and one week with us. But they had to go out also for shopping, for visiting relatives and friends. One week was not enough. To some places I also went with them. While shopping I could not stand for a long time. My elder daughter is very fond of Pani puri, Double Roti, bhel etc. and when she comes here she likes to have them. Like Gopik aand Pratima my two daughters also are different though they are my daughters. Though I am old but still I like to enjoy life and interested in everything but now only my younger daughter is not interested in eating or wearing nice clothes or jewellery etc. My elder daughter is like me only likes to wear nice dresses , jewellery etc.

Each relationship has feelings and differences
it is always better to melt in feelings
than to get freeze in differences

Had a nice time with my brother inlaw's family when we went for dinner, then with my son and his wife for dinner. Had gone for lunch inmy sis in law's daughter's house. Had a quick get together , lunch and some karaoke, enjoyed singing old songs.

When children come they have lt of shopping to do, especially Mumbai you get so many things, so till last minute they were shopping.

Good relationships are like needles of a clock, They only meet for sometime but always stay connected .

Forgot to mention that it was so hectic managing the kitchen though my son in law helped in cutting the vegetables, daughters helped in other things. Since after a long time I was cooking for many people. Son in law was saying you can cook for lunch later but I am used to cooking everything together in the morning itself because I am fresh in the morning and later I feel tired. He wants strong coffee with only one spoon sugar and it should be hot. Some want medium. When Gopika came first day she put kolam then she only did the archana to Devi. Then after Pratima came she forgot about as they were busy playing. Usually some ladies would like to sit at home and take care of everything, but I like to go out also, then had bank work also with my daughters, so after going out and coming I used to feel tired. It is very hot also here and because of corn in my leg sometimes it pains.

Glad to know @knbg dear that you all missed me. Thanks for your warm welcome, I also missed logging in IL. Thanks for your good wishes and concern about me.

Dont know why only two feedbacks. When others write about children there are so many feedbacks, when I write very less feedbacks

@iyerviji ma Hope you are feeling better. You have expressed so nicely. I too felt the same but could not express. Since 2 years I have been staying at home and first time we had 4 elders at our place for 2 weeks, it took every ounce of my energy to survive through those 2 weeks with a cheerful face and taking care of my family and the guests. I felt so guilty for looking forward when they will leave but after the weekend, since yesterday I started missing all the hectic activity. All this to say I know exactly what you felt. You have the maximum number of daughters (and sons too) any mother can have I think. We are one big family and always here for you :worship2::worship2::worship2:

Nice to know you had a great time with daughters and grandkids. Can imagine that the house feels a bit empty after they left, but now you have some happy memories to hold on to till the next time they come to visit. As for the rest, we are all here, IL is here and Skype is always there Vijima.
