A day of meeting and talking with old friends which made mehappy

Today was a day of meeting old friends and talking to my office friend which brought me sweet memories of the time I was with them.

Today morning as always went to Lord Vinayaka temple with my husband. Then he had some work and he went . I also had some other work so we took leave. On my way I met my old train friend. We used to go by the same train. We were meeting after a long time though we live in the same place. So had lots to talk. We were remembering our good old days when we used to meet at the station and take the same train when we were working. She lost her husband and is staying alone . She has had many problems so sometimes she was not firm . She had two sons and elder son died when he was young. She said she is going to Siddhi Vinayak temple in Prabhadevi and so took leave.

On my way met another friend who was my neighbour and now staying in a different place as our house is under construction though work not started yet.She has two daughters both married and one abroad and one staying far. Was saying her daughter had come for a day but no time to meet me but said that she sees me in facebook. We took leave and she was saying once in a way its nice to meet at least outside.

On whatsapp I got a message from my office friend saying its birthday of another friend. She gave me the number also . I thought I should phone her and she will be very happy. I knew if I call her she will take for a long time. So phoned from my cell phone and went to the bedroom so that I can talk freely for a long time. When I phoned she was very happy. She felt very happy to hear my voice. She is from a well to do family and was working as a Reception cum telephone operated in my office. We had gone for movies , once I had gone to her house in the lunch time to show her how to make Mysore pak. Other times also had gone with friends. We used to have nice time. Though I was not so well off like her she was very friendly and when I did not have much work and felt bored I used to spend time with her and learnt telephone operating also. My boss alsoknew where to find me when I am not in my seat. As a steno I used to finish my work fast. So used to have free time sometimes but then later when I was promoted as Senior Assistant I never used to have any free time. We spoke for half an hour about our children , she was saying I like your frankness, glad to see you active in facebook, I will save your number and keep in touch. I know she wont phone much and expect me to call . I told her you add me in whatsapp I can call her through whatsapp. I asked her whether the other friend who gave her number phoned , she said she sent message through whatsapp. I told her I thought it is better to talk in person than sending message. She was also happy .
