I used to be trim, but have pale, sickly face.

Then I started eating wrecklessly in 2012. By 2013 I started to get big tummy.

Then life events happened, and I got bigger tummy.

Now, I have beautiful face, bigger chest, hips and thighs, but tummy looks big (people think I'm expecting baby).

    I'm 5"4, 140 lbs and now I barely fit into USA size 6 (before 2012 I fit into size 2, or 4)

Any exercises that target the belly?

This is what I have been doing for past month
    - Surya Namaskar (at 39, aim is 108)
    - 20 minutes weight-bearing exercise
    - 20 seconds inversion, i.e. one leg on wall at a time, 10 seconds each
    - watching what I eat. Really, "once in a while" turns into all the time.

    Typical diet

    When I wake
    - 16 oz water with Synthriod 100mcg
    - do exercise
    - 16 oz lemon/lime water

    Breakfast:
    - 24 peeled almonds (after they've soaked couple of hours)
    - Fruits, boiled egg, on whole wheat toast with melted swiss cheese, sprinkled with some chopped onion and chopped green pepper (because it improves metabolism)
    - 6 oz Juice with multivitamin, omega-3 capsule

    Green Tea

    Lunch:
    - Plain yougurt, 5.0 oz
    - 6 walnuts, 6 cashews, 6 pistachios
    - Two pieces of Dove dark chocolate
    - Starbucks coffee (I use half and half with regular coffee)
    - Spoon of peanut butter to prevent me from eating co-workers chocolate from candy dish
(sometimes when I am careless, I have bite-size chocolate candy from co-worker's candy dish anyway)

    Cammomile or Peppermint Tea

Warm Water with neem tablets and probiotic

    Dinner
    Salad
Whole wheat toast with home-made guacamole
    Few pieces of goat meat

    Before sleep
Boiled milk with turmeric, ground cinnamon, pure cocoa powder

Is this good? Also, past blood results show that I am approaching pre-diabetic, so I really want to avoid this.

You're eating nuts, candy and coffee for lunch? You should include more vegetables, legumes and grains. Multivitamins and other supplements will not compensate for a nutritionally deficient diet. We don't even know for sure if our bodies can absorb nutrients from all these pills everybody is popping these days. The science just isn't there.

Your weight seems fine for your height. If you have a belly, you can do two things -- lose some more weight, or reduce body fat and build muscle by lifting heavy weights. You can't spot lose weight unfortunately.

@Shanvy no PCOS although 10+ years ago I was prescribed Yasmin and Progesterone to even out hormone levels. Took for about 5years.

In 2014 I got pregnant two days after taking high dose of Folic Acid prescribed by Ob-GYN (then God took baby for safekeeping)

@ChennaiExpress, @gauri03 is right. You should more and more veggies and fruits. If you are having coffee and chocolate don't expect any inch loss from tummy. Yogurt is fine, nuts in moderation. Start having 2 pcs of roti with one serving of veggie and yogurt or dal in lunch. For snacks try fruits. Dinner should be light with maximum use of salad. Have clear soups, avoid processed food 100%.

Lentils, beans are very good source of protien. Dairy is also complete protein.

Incorporate at home cardio, I will suggest using fitnessblender cardio videos, weight lifting is good, it gives more of afterburn effect, but cardio is also as much important. Cardio builds up heart rate, enhances your stamina.

Switch your lunch and dinner and you will be all set. Take previous days dinner in tiffin box to work

On an entirely different note, the coffee and chocolate only for lunch may be fueling some of those angst ridden posts you are so prone to.:notthatway:

Have a proper lunch girl! Your mental outlook will improve along with your health.
