We are back for another season to engage (and entertain you).
So I'd like to describe few things about this initiative ..hold on ..questions later..what?! you want answers now...but Q&A is usually reserved at the end ...what now ..okay ..go on..

    Mr Doubtful: Why another thread?
Because we thought there was potential to do something different and better based on our experiences and learnings from previous projects and we enjoy to experiment.

Ms Curious: Why "Through the Looking Glass"?
Through the Looking-Glass is a novel by Lewis Carroll which is also the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Growing up as kid, I used to watch a science show which had TTLG as one of its segments. Let's say this thread is a homage to both these early recollections of mine. Metaphorically "looking glass" is used to convey actions like "examination", "analysis" and "review", isn't that what we are embarking here?

Ms Interested: What is my contribution here?
Your greatest contribution is your eclectic interest and waxing enthusiasm to learn, grow and enrich. We expect a roving mind that drops a link, reference, poll, personal essay on current events and start a discussion.

Ms Confused: I don't understand that "drop" and "start"?
For e.g if you read this morning about European refugee crisis on your news app, provide a link and express your opinion on the topic. We welcome social commentary on trending articles on current affairs (predominantly), culture, technology, arts, entertainment, sports (least). If you read an article on "Iran Nuclear Deal", drop a note on what you felt about the arrangement.

Ms Tuned: How do I source all that information and keep myself attuned to what is happening around me?
There are several mobile apps to download if you are a smartphone user. For beginners : Feedly (feed subscriber), Digg (aggregator) , AP Mobile (Associated Press release), Alien Blue (reddit feed)

Ms Reactionary: Why all these things in a social forum, people come here either to have some fun and or vent fury?
Agreed. We are considerate and sensitive to people who are focused on other exigent learnings. We occupy a small dimly-lit room and our jam sessions pose no threat or disturbance to anyone. We welcome visitors who can drop in now and then to check if we are still alive and lend a hand to assort our clutter of newspaper clippings.

Ms Skeptic: Who are you BTW?
Oh! Long story, short introduction people call me chameleon, zelig, transformer but I prefer to introduce myself as someone you will exceedingly adore or fumingly hate. For now try to stay neutral till we meet again.

Ms Leap : I want to join the group.
Just make the first post and you are in.

Due to lack of time, the launch slideshow is canned , so we'll unveil the poster instead. Thank you.

You don't want to stop at Ms Leap but transform into Ms Bound, Ms Vault in due time.
Slightly uncomfortable and precarious while flipping a page but the safety net is photoshopped in the picture.

I just happened to read these words of Sir APJ Abdul Kalam from a whatsapp msg, "Don't take rest after your first victory, because if you fail in second, more lips are waiting to say, that your first victory was just luck".

On reading this two things crossed my mind, one was abt the great person tat he was n his vision towards t future of our nation n his contribution to t future generation. The whole world mourns for his separation n grieving for t loss of such a great guru tat he was. After hos death lot of articles, msgs n many ppl talked abt his simplicity, his knowledge, his kindness towards others just makes me feel proud to hv been born in t same nation. And also to hv been lived during his period.

The second was that what could v do to such a grt personality. Read more abt him n talk more abt him to t future generation n to pass on his values n principles n his teachings to make the future of our kids like how he dreamt.

A salute to the man of our nation, a salute to the great guru of simplicity and knowledge, a salute to his values and the teachings that he has left for us.

.where are we heading.. as long as politics , well all types, are involved in educational institutions, educational reform, not sure of the prognosis on the quality of education.
