    Re: Flaxseed Receipe

    Hi saikripa,

I just googled it and came to know about that. It is a kind of 'jute' - சணல் family.
here are the names in various languages.

Flaxseeds is known as San, Alsi in Hindi, Gujarati, and Punjabi, Ali vidai in Tamil. Flaxseed is also known as Linseed, Atasi, and Jawas in Marathi, Tishi in Bengali, Pesi in Oriya, Agasi in Kannada, Avise ginzalu in Telugu, and Cheruchana vithu in Malayalam.

we can use one table spoon flour per day in any form in our diet. Hope this helps.

    Hi mona,

I guess you are speaking about Spinach also called Palak. Used to make gravy and curries. If not check in images section of google using the tag "Kulfi ki bhaji"

Any veg. recipes without using gas or oven?

I am interested in exploring the old traditional way of cooking. It does not involve the usage of gas stove or oven. The food was prepared in a healthy way without the loss of nutrients.
If anyone knows such recipes, can share them here.It will be useful for everyone.Even you can suggest books if available.
