Hi Friends, Does anyone know the recipe of rasam they serve in Raghavendra swamy mutts in Andhra Pradesh, esp Hyderabad. Its not the typical rasam we make in our houses, its got a different and yummiest taste to it. I think it is kannada style rasam. If anyone knows the recipe, please let me know.

Even I would love to have it,does anyone out there know? Maybe they use udad dhal roasted in the rasam powder plus jaggery
Managed to get the rasam powder recipe of Raghavendra swami mutt,but do not know how much powder u should add. Chillies-150 gms Dhania-150 gms Jeera-125 gms Methi-50 gms Pepper-50gms Turmeric powder-1tsp Curry leaves-2sprigs hing-agenerous pinch Dry roast all these ingredients and powder them.
Just found the above recipe under a group as they had asked the same question. Then I found the same recipe for rasam powder in a blog called savi-ruchi.com Maybe you can try that
