    Saisakthi sister
Our shirdi trip has gone well. We had our darshan at specified time as we booked without any problems within 1/2 an hour. As you said we went back to temple after our 4pm darshan to attend dhoop aarthi. We were fortunate enough to enter the samadhi mandhir on time for aarthi. I was thinking I should have brought aarthi book with me while coming as I forgot about it completely, then suddenly a lady behind gave me her book. I was so happy singing the aarthi along with everyone that too in shirdi. I never expected that.
But as soon as we came outside, it was raining heavily. We almost got drenched waiting for the bus. May be saibaba wanted to test our patience. Except this part everything went well.
Next day went to sai heritage village which is 4-5 kms from shirdi which is also called as old shirdi. There were statues set in a village atmosphere showing glimpses of saibabas life. There were also few rides for kids. My kid enjoyed a lot. Also went to kanyakumari temple which was nearby.
I prayed on behalf of everyone. And am really thankful to saisakthi sister for her guidance and the map was really useful.Missed the oppurtunity to see sai devotees houses due to rain. Hope to see them sometime

    Dear Sai Sakthi Sister,

I'm in desperate need of your advice.

I had been longing to visit Shirdi since long time but somehow could never worked out.

This year had started badly for me. Lot of negativity going around me.

    I feel lonely and helpless.

I prayed to sai to take me to shirdi. My mother is not a sai follower so she is not
    Accompanying me.
My father is also not interested to visit shirdi.

But I'm very much sure and strong in my decision to visit shirdi and pray to my sai and cry my.heart out to him.

I just need sai's blessings but I'm alone and nobody to acxompany me for the shirdi trip.

I stay in bangalore. Now I'm planning to go alone to shirdi via bangalore to kopargaon train.

I've gone through this thread and got to know about booking darshan and aarti passes online.

My major concern is accomodation. I'm a single woman in my 20's. Please advice me where can I stay in shirdi and how to manage alone?.

I'm praying daily to sai to take me to His place.

    Regards,
    Pinky

    Hi Pinky,

There are many accommodations available. I usually used to stay in Sun 'n' Sand when I go there alone. I am sure there are many accommodations. Can you check online and book it ? Even I don't see Sai sister much nowadays. Let me tag @suryakala who can help you also.
Don't worry. Sai will take care of everyone.

@vanithasudhir sister...thanks for prompt reply. I mentioned sai sakthi sister but I'll be more than glad if you or any other sister can help me.

I read somewhere that single accommodation is very difficult in shirdi and that's what I'm worried about.

I'm planning to travel on june 1st n reach on june 2nd afternoon. Online i could see aarti pass available only on june 3rd as of now (earliest possible date).

Is it safe fr a woman to travel alone for first tym?
Also i plan to visit shani shingnapur temple on june 3rd.
I'm having doubts about if i should vacate the room and go with luggage to shani shingnapur? If so then where can i keep bag there?

I'm just scared, confused but determined to visit shirdi.

    Please help.

    Thank you

Also i have doubts. Should i take any offerings to sai for darshan or should i offer during aarti?
Can i take handbag with wallet inside during darshan n aarti? Are food /water bottles allowed?
Sorry if i sound silly.... i had only.once visited shirdi probably when i was 5yrs old of which i remember jothing.

So practically this is my first visit.

No worries. Actually if you had booked through some travels it would have been easier. If you want to take anything from your place...well and good. However there are many shops there.
Aarti time will be very crowded. They will keep shoving away the way they do in tirupathi. So apart from aarti time, I would suggest you also visit during non aarti time and give your offerings...so that you also get peaceful Darshan. If you plan to visit shani shingapur and leave from there..you should take your bags and go.
They do not allow mobile phones. Wallets they allow. But be careful. There are lot of thefts that happen in the Q too.
Accommodation...as I said I used to check in sun n sand. I am sure there are other accommodations available too.
bounce your thread one more time, if you dont get responses, so that it gets noticed.
