    Dear @Shanvy ,

Thanks a lot for the beautiful and encouraging quote. Yes, I am so much supported by your response. I will try to go for a small walk tomorrow. If not at least do the Leslie walk at home.

    Have a great weekend.

    Hi Shanvy,

I've read all your threads and suggestions. I am 'IN' with your group of walking. Walking at home is a true blessing for person like me.

I've just started with 1 mile walk (L.S), feeling great and energetic.

I shall continue doing it and update here.

What about the diet group thinkingsmiley, kindly guide me dear.

Thank you for the wonderful support that you are granting to all of us.

Aabhi, i remember your thread from 2007.
    http://www.indusladies.com/forums/k...shape/14991-weight-loss-team-shed-weight.html
it used to be a sticky thread for a long time, and i have posted only one post in that whole thread clarifying something written in telugu..and i am like omg, 2007-2015 what a change.. and what motivation i have drawn across all fronts from here..so i am sure you will too. yes walking at home, without any questions, any time..i walk just like that while folding clothes, cleaning dishes..just that now walking to a inbuilt rhythm(that you get with walking for long)is a nice minimal excercise.
good, keep doing it for a week consistently, and if you can add another mile..this way slowly you can increase the number of miles..and then you can join the other thread that has a 100miles a month target..you will definitely get there..patience, consistency.
honestly i don't follow any diet as such. i have learn by body defies diet..so i have learnt by trial and error that eating a good balanced meal is the best way. and if you want some ideas, you can check out and join the fun here
http://www.indusladies.com/forums/k...hape/241203-indian-lunch-ideas-sans-rice.html . It started as a thread to keep track of what i eat and variety and to inspire somebody who thinks vegetarian food is not great..ended up as a knowledge treasure trove with all of us doing knowledge sharing. there is something to learn everyday..

you are welcome..it is mutual. we support each other..there is no one way track here..it is a two way street..who knows, to keep you motivated, and to give that small kick, i will try a little more harder to be on track...

all the best and get moving..
