    Right might still be wrong

What’s right to some maybe wrong to many. Ms. Deepika padukone’s recent video on women empowerment “MY CHOICE’ sounds empowering but I feel this video is created merely to gain public attention rather than the actual cause. :thumbsdown

This particular video exploded with wide range of views. Ms. Padukone is an inspiration to many, I too love her, but being an inspiration to many she should have opted a better choice to divulge “WOMEN EMPOWERMENT”. .

This video is asserting that a woman has a right to make choices as much as a man does, :exactly:absolutely right. In our country, a girl definitely has lesser choices compared to a guy and as she grows the choices decreases further down ending with compulsion & left with NO CHOICE. Inequalities between men and women and discrimination against women have also been age-old issues all over the world. Thus, women’s quest for equality with man is a universal phenomenon. What exists for men is demanded by women, fair enough to accept it…

If he/she makes choices for his/her betterment its something great to be welcomed wholeheartedly but He/She has to live adhering, if not all, atleast to some moral values. You need to think about what you want and how it will affect the people around you who truly care about you. You need to take care of yourself first but that doesn’t give you an authority to do wrong. You cant make wrong choices and expect ppl to succor you. Men or women sex before marriage or EMA both are ethically wrong. MY CHOICE should emphasis more on obtaining wide spectrum of diverse choices for women to select, definitely not for the wrong deeds. notdonesmiley

Make your “CHOICE” wisely so that you don’t feel guilty or look down by many. Some of her points fits perfect for celebs in btown world but not applicable for the Women in the real world. Sridevi married an already married man destroying another woman’s happiness in the name of MY CHOICE. Her choice is ridiculed because she devastated someone’s family to establish her family notdonesmiley#NOT ACCEPTED…

Ohh lets talk about this particular video and its effect on present generation. Social media is everything for Generation Z. Their day to day mundane routine is updated ritually in the social networking sites to let the world known how great they are. Having bfs, making up and break up are the crazy trends they are following. Ms. Padukone’s positive viewpoint about having sex before marriage will encourage the present generation to take the relationship a step ahead without a hint of guilt because their sensational Idol Ms. Padukone follows it. :bangWow, after all, the messages we receive from most TV shows and movies these days tells us the same "EVERYONE IS DOING IT”/”MY CHOICE”, making it easy for the present generation to raise their voice over a crappy thing.

The most effective way to create women empowerment is to edify kids a mutual respect for man and woman. From the very childhood itself a baby should learn to accept people as men and women, the equal partners of life on earth; not as objects to fulfill LUSTY WISHES OR AMBITIONS. Create a healthy environment which can help them to tame the sexual desire.

Why it’s focused mainly on Sex thing?
    we33333444.jpg

Don’t you think the video should have focused more on demanding equality with men in matters of education, employment, inheritance, marriage, politics and recently in the field of religion also to serve as cleric rather than on S thing. The problems about innumerable women in the country who get abandoned by their husbands and have no means of proving their marital status is no where seen in the video. What women want is choices on education, marriage, work, freedom of mobility and freedom to define one’s own style of life.

It is contended that freedom leads to greater openness, generosity and tolerance. In the simplest of words it is basically the creation of an environment where women can make independent decisions on their personal development as well as shine as equally in society as men. Wake up Vogue and Ms. Padukone there is lot more to capture in WOMEN EMPOWERMENT rather than what the video shows. we3456.jpg

Asking equal rights for smoking in streets, drinking in pubs, S-thing before marriage & ema are not WOMEN EMPOWERMENT 11025637_1141170572566578_7951309362246670514_n.jpg

    Dear Angellic,
You have hit the nail on the spot.Women should know to distinguish between freedom ,choice and above all the correct perception behind the three.
Freedom is more or less theory.
Choice is the pragmatic or practical part.
Perception is the guide line principle through the freedom gets transformed into action or choice.
Correct perception should visualise minimum, apt choices within which one can revolve around with just enough freedom, to have the just choice to have a just life not only to oneself ,but to society at large.
In real life situations existence of too many choices is a hell. We will be nearing the correct solution when the choice narrows down resulting in a firm correct choice.
    Wonderful expression Madam.
While many women hesitate to analyse this topic, you have done a thread bare analysis of the issue and presented a clear picture .Thank you.

    Dear Angellic,
A super blog, and u got away with this blog, maybe bcs u are a woman. if i had written thios , i would have been slaughtered by many ladies here, but i agree with everything u say here. i do not know of this video, but if true, then i agree with u.
Just bcs a woman is an adult, and has her body, does not mean that she can have sex before marriage, etc, or keep changing her boy friends as deepika has one, the ones that come to mind , are Dhoni, yuvraj, malaya son, ranbir and a few others too.

A girl or a boy is responsible to his family also, bcs this is not the western world where after 18, u leave the home of parents, and u have to work yr way, and stay in rented places, so u live with a person of the opposite sex, earn yr own money etc.
But here, things are different, values are different.

Very well written, and i am surprised not many comments on such a wonderful post.
    Regards

    kamal
