    thanks for all your reply friends.... i cant change the hospital as it was prescribed by dr.jamuna... so just want to know if any one has experienced in vijaya hospital...

    very very happy to see all your lovely experience.... right from my pregnancy im gradually gaining 2-3 kgs per month... i was 52 and now im 64 kgs... baby's movements are very very active.... my hemoglobin counts got lower compared to 3rd month.... anyhow enjoying my time with my baby...

    Hi everyone....
    i am down with severe cold and cough :( my voice has changed not able to breath or sleep..... i am not able to do the salt water gargle i vomit when i try to do that..... is there anything else i can do pls let me know..... i am tired of it....

    Did you try to take steam.
    Also my doc had asked to apply little ghee in nose and not Vicks.
    For cough mix turmeric and honey and have it. It will definitely give you relief.
    And drink hot water
    And little turmeric with milk if possible.

    My advise dont take vicks , tiger balm ,volini etc pain killer in your pregnancy stage. the chemical substance may affect baby's heart

    i am applying vicks on my nose is that you are saying not to apply??? also while taking steam i am putting little vicks in water and then steaming if you say no then i would stop that.... but what to do for the blocked nose then???

    @hellosister, @madure, i had no idea about the vicks, tiger balm thingy i used to apply it all the time during my first tri as tht smell kept me from throwing up.. Oh now i am scared.. hope everything is alright with the baby..

    VICKS OR TIGER BALM ARE NOT CLINICALLY PROVEN FOR PREGNANT LADIES .. so dont use..for cold just steam is enough.. take 4 times steam a day to get out of cold...

    Yes doctor also told me not to apply vicks directly in nose, i mean it shud not come in contact with skin. So better avoid it..

    @hellosister, how are you feeling now? how is your cold?

    Couple months ago, I used Vicks Vaporub and Tylenol for cold and fever after my doc okayed it. Best to check with doc.
