    With Valentine's Day around the corner, wouldn't it be ideal to discuss about looking for the BEST in your partner??? This thread will be the next in series to support the initiative of Building Positivity in Married Life.

    It takes effort to strengthen a Marriage! There are many things you could do to have a healthy marriage and one most important thing would be to "look for the BEST in each other".

    When you were just married, those initial days you fell in love with some of his or her qualities. Over time, however, your view of those qualities may have changed. For example, his sense of humor might have been great when you met. Now you just think he’s making a joke out of you!
    Similarly, he thought you have been really good at saving money when you met. But now he might think your stingy (especially when it comes to spending for his side!!)

    Let's give the partner the benefit of doubt and create a list of TOP 3 Qualities that you love the most in your partner. Who knows...it will help you to fall in LOVE all over again!

    Three qualities I love most:
    He married a virago like me.
    He stays married to the same.
    He will make a move towards the expensive flowers aisle next Friday (the thirteenth), and I will say, 'No', he will insist, I will insist too. Hopefully glares from impatient fellow-shoppers will settle the issue. :)

    Nice topic at the perfect time!

    Top 3 qualities out of numerous I love in my DH:kiss:

    1) He is good at heart and doesnot talk ill about others even once, this has surprised me a lot since our courtship days.
    But then I tried to understand he just does not take it to heart things which are not important in his life, there is no point in discussing them. I like this:thumbsup
    (But I can't be like this :hide:)

    2) He would do anything to keep me smiling.
    Especially after he comes from work, he wants to see a happy smiling DW at home even after whatever arguement we have all day during office working hours :p:evil:

    3) He asks my opinion in any matter (This makes me feel more proud as his wife) and I totally love it.

    I guess I can keep on writing about my DH Computer Typing and assume the same for any married woman to keep on boasting about their husband.

    1) His confidence in life (I fell for his technical skills)
    2) unconditional love (strange, I see my mom in him)
    3) extremely organized (to the nth degree)

    Hi,

    The top three qualities I like in my husband is

    1.His care for my father. After my mothers death,he himself went and bought my father to our house with bag and baggage and made him stay with us comfortably. After seven years also,he still treats him like his father and consults him first in all our family matters.

    2.His unconditional love towards me during my ups and downs.Strongly stood up for me for 12 years when we were trying for baby.

    3.Respecting my space and my limitations.
