Hey Ladies,

Its wonderful to see this DDC. Glad to see people chipping in. There are some really helpful advisors on this forum , so I look forward to learn from all of us and advisors.
Lets get the list in structured way.So far we have six people , I listed whichever DDC was available , please fill in the rest.

Which no of kid - first /second/ third - Mine is first
Preference - Boy/Gal - I would be happy with any of it.
Are you working - Yes/No - Yes
What are your symptoms as of now- I am absolutely normal, not many symptoms.
Where are you located - Me US , CA
Are you still sexually active (frequency) - Yes, as before.

Hey Jan 2009 mommies,
I am due on Jan 2,2009, but I guess that can move around +/- 10 days esp given that this is my first pregnancy.Anyways for now am glad to be in the Jan 2009 brigade.Uptil now, my pregnancy has been fine (touch wood) and healthy.I went hiking at the Grand Canyon last month, and am even cycling till now.I am working and am ablw to do all housework.I hope everything continues this way till the 9th month.I am based in NJ.Boy or girl does not matter to me, as far as the kis is healthy,happy and intelligent

ForeverPositive, Welcome to DDC. We will count you as Jan Mommy even if you end up delivering in dec. Its alright to be having 1-2 weeks' deviation.

Ria - My expected due date is January 27th, so our dates are pretty close! :-D
I'm excited to have someone else in the Jan Mommies club who is at the same stage as me. :mrgreen:
I'm happy this group is gaining more members too. :-D

Here are the answers to your questions:

Which no of kid - first /second/ third - This is our first baby.
Preference - Boy/Gal - Healthy Happy baby is what i want.
Are you working - Yes/No - No
What are your symptoms as of now- I am having symptoms like food aversion,being extra emtional, sometimes little bit of dizzyness but so far nothing really troubling like vomiting, bad nausea etc.
Where are you located - Currently Jalandhar Punjab, in future Sydney, Australia.
Are you still sexually active (frequency) - As normal.

How are you doing....

I felt really nice reading <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1lace>ur</st1lace></st1:City> posts....Actually I am in 7th week of my pregnancy and feels exactly the same as Asha....

I tried to find Feb 2009 mommies...but didn’t find such thread...so thought to join u guys...

Unlike Asha my gyn has asked me for ultrasound 20 - 30 th july and that would be later than Asha....i forgot to ask my gyn which week is running....actually my last period started on 10th May and so I calculated online and according to that it was my 7th week... Can you guys help me....

Congrats to all the Jan 2009 mommies

I am a week over the expected period date and HPT says positive. So when should be the first appointment with gyne and what she will check at this early stage. Since you all would have had the first appointment by now, i thought to ask you for advice

I am taking folic acid. I have heard that for first three months thats all that needs to be taken. When does the first ultrasound scan happens?

When do u plan to have your baby shower

Hi everyone,
In my case I guess I will be having two separate and very diff baby showers.One org by my mother for the family (since It is huge) and one organised by my friends.Right now my guess is going to be somewhere in Oct this year prior to Diwali coz after that it is considered inauspicious atleast the Gujju rituals that need to be performed cannot be done till mid Dec, and given that my due date is Jan 2,2009 I would rather not have anything in Dec

Would like to know when you are palnning yours
