to tone, first one should reduce the fat..

i keep doing cardio and lower belly exercise but to no avail.the fat is there.

I am going to go for a better calorie intake the right way.however, one has to be practical.I am not one of those people who can give up tasty stuff but i can control?

I am going to shift to brown rice, drnk lots of water.junk food will reduce but cannot give up altogether.portion control the food.
    will it work?

Try one thing consistently for 6 weeks, such a consistent cardio before giving up, Sometimes it just might take some time. Limit all sugar and processed foods that also might help.

For belly fat, do tummy exercise also called as crunching. Do that 30 times in the mornings and 30 times in the evenings at your convenience.

You don't have to completely avoid your cravings. Then your life will be tasteless. Your idea of reducing the portion and items such as junk food is good. Also reduce the frequency of eating unhealthy stuff like friend chips and stuff.

Less oil, more water, eat on time, frequent small portions of healthy meals, fruits and more importantly green tea with exercise when done consistently would surely show a big difference in your shape.

I think the post op belly went away completely for me only because of strength training. Even when I was ideal weight for my height I still had the flabby mid section. Doing a good amount of strength training with weigths is what helped me tone and firm up. I stopped strength training and I can see the flab coming back on. I have no time to do the weights in the gym :( i trained with a trainer though. She helped me select a program and stick to it!

my trainer modified a program called strong lifts 5X5 for me. She did it herself and just tailored it to my needs. I did it until I hurt a shoulder(not due to lifting but something else entirely) and had to cut back on heavy lifting. Yoga helped to strengthen a lot as well. if you can do weights, any weights with a trainer, go for it. Don't do it yourself though, you need a trainer for a few months until you get used to the routines.
