Make up Items for Glowing Skin & Straight Hair tips required

Hi Ladiesfriendssmiley ,

Happy Tuesday !! I am 25 years old and getting married in a month yumsmiley. Can you suggest me which cream I can continue using post marriage ..Now I use Banjaras Saffron but sometimes I use my mom's Ponds age miracle . I have a fair complexion but not very fair but my skin doesnt glow , means it is not oily at all . Not that dry as well.. I do see few people and what they apply is a mystery , their skin glows lik anything . Should I use any masks or can u ppl suggest me nice cream that gives instant glow ? moneysmiley

I normally apply home made facial masks like almond paste with milk , potato , cucumber , besan powder etc .. Still , my daily cream is not helping to maintain . But I do not want to get any side effects as well . Basically suggest me a very good foundation so that post wedding I can glow while I attend any functionsthinkingsmiley

Advice for hair :

My hair looks nice not very dense though . Straight hair but not like a pakka straight . My cousins do adore my hair but my to be husband suggests me to get my hair straightened . Shall I go for straightening ? Or does smoothening help me to get that look .. I do not want to that stick straightened neat hair .. It should look naturally straight . Ladies , plz do input ur suggestions :2thumbsup:

Permanent hair straightening may damage your hair, bcoz they do contain chemicals....you can try temporary straightening, but my suggestion is don't damage your hair by trying these artificial styles, its good to keep the natural one as is....

Hi Vandhena

First know what your skin type is which is utmost beneficial to choose foundation.
Then it will be easier to work on face packs.

Same applies to hair also. For temporary hair straightening do this, after hairwash, brush your hair with soft towel from root to tips in one direction. After drying you can notice little bit of straightness which may last for day.

Hi op,

congrats for ur wedding.

1. Do u apply moisturizer?
If not start a good company moisturizer preferably with sun block in it. I use aveeno moisturizer.

apply it immediately after fash wash and wiping, ie when ur face is still moist, then this moisturizer locks the moist and keeps skin healthy.

2. I tried lakme cc cream , It gives some glow to skin as per my observation.

i suggest u to go to a cosmetics show room in any big mall and ask the sales girls there to suggest u some products for daily use and also for functions. They will help u.

3. Ponds age cream isn't too early to start for u? U r only 25.

Hi KF ,

1. No I don't apply moisturizer ..Looking for a gud one
2.Lakme Intense white am using now which is matte finish and smells decent with normal effect

Went to many malls n had many trials where Body shop's BB cream is nice . However I am scared to disturb my skin with such costly products

3.Ya I know but the cream is the only thing which gives me glow however that scares me at times due to age restriction . BTW wat is retinal ?
