tips to improved a totally ignored skin/beauty/health

    Hi friends, Due to many issues in my life, I have totally ignored my health, beauty and myself (emotional and physical). Now its high time i need to bounce back and not sure where to start. Emotionally, I am working to improve but want to know how to start improving my looks and health. Need your help to get me started. Please provide your valuable tips.

    Looking at multiple areas to address you can prioritize them as -
    1. moral boost
    2. health
    3. beauty
    For 1 you need to indulge yourself into some activities you like. Interact more with friends/relatives. Go out.
    For 2 start with some health regime. Like drinking 2 glasses water in morning then a smoothy followed by your favorite breakfast.. having green tea in evening. Snacking on dry fruits. Depending on what fits in your life.
    For 3 start with a basic CTM routine at night. Choose some good overnight skin healing application which you can find in this forum as per your need.

    Start wearing matching items first. . .and everything will follow it.

    Get matching assessories like earings, watch, neck chain etc. . .When you wear them. . you will feel, your face should look better. . .now go to parlor, get your facial, eyebrows done. . then you will feel that. . .you face looks ok only if you do facial . .. then start maintaining your skin in home. . .then you will feel that you should be in shape to wear such dresses. . .now. . .you will concentrate in your structure. . .and so it continues. . .

    thanks workingwomen and Shrivni, good way to start.
    Self boosting i m already practicing after this diwali. I was very health conscious and always tried to look best for functions and very presentable. But due to some problems in marriage front and additional resp. work pressure i lost interest and totally neglected myself. This diwali when i visited some neighbours and relatives i felt inferior and ashamed of having neglected myself. So, now I want to be back to what I was and kind of struggling where to start.

    But will try to start a routine and catchup on the missed aspects

    Hi Friends, started with the new makeover of myself. First started thinking positive about everything in life. Trying to get rid of negative thoughts. Drinking 2 glasses of water the moment i wake up. Started having bread jam/butter as first breakfast ( since i used to get time to have brkfst only after 11 am after finishing most of my housework + office work.). Second round I have at 11am or pack the same to have in office later.

    great start abhigail,have lots of fruits n veggies it improves ur skin tone n more important have atleasr 6-8 glasses of water a day .do regular facial,pedicure and wear comfort dress, this helps to gain selfconfident.ALL THE BEST for a new ABHIGAIL:thumbsup

    1. For beauty , go to parlor , eyebrow or full face threading, waxing arms and legs, manicure , pedicure, facial, and a hair cut, monthly..
    2. at home, everyday moisturizer with sunscreen and min makeup for eyes and lips may be lip gloss or nude lipstick.
    3. do some updates to ur wardrobe, get some new fashions.
    4. Accessorize appropriately ,especially handbag and sandals or shoes

    4. to to feel good , start new hobbies , or put time into ur old hobbies , ex,photography, painting , Photoshop, scrap book etc

    5 . For health, eat right, exercise, sleep for 8 hours.
    exercise, walk , or jog or join gym.
    eating right: fresh veggie juice, lot of veggies and fruits, and multigrain, whole grain foods, and sprouts.

    6. Surround yourself with ur well wishers as friends and relatives. No negative energy, the u feel good.

    7. Read personality development books, in whatever area u feel u needed, go to the book shop and search there

    8. Include yoga and meditation part of ur life.

    9 keep goals and work towards it. Gives fulfillment to life.

    10 last but not least, have someone u can feel happy to be with , maybe ur kid or spouse , or parents.

    write down ur to-do items and paste it in ur room or all rooms, so that u won't miss ur to- dos

    Good to hear that. Keep going. As you start seeing some positive results it will motivate you more.
    You may want to include fruits in your breakfast. As simple as an apple. It will not require any extra time/cooking. It will improve your skin and health over a period of time.

    wonderful tips Ladies !!! Kudos to your support

    Adding to it, Take care of your hair which is major factor in deciding one's look

    Apply hairpacks twice a month, add conditioner after shampoo, let it dry naturally, use only wide toothed brush for detangling and last one, maintain zinc levels optimally.
