Dont rush! Just try one by one. Example: Start with apple week1 then banana wrek2 so that you will know which baby likes the most / allergetic or not ... I've a list with me like what needs to be given at 6 / 8 / 10 months .. Let me find that and will post here .. My baby is turning 6 on this 10 th and we still haven't started anything yet .. He is on semi solids ... This weekend will introduce solids

My baby is turning 6 months by today. He is getting diverted a lot (when I say a lot I mean it, he turns all around to explore, fan sound, outside noise etc) while bf ing and he likes to drink milk only with bottle. Anyone faced this? I'm also in weaning stage ... Pumping will keep up the supply and will not reduce seems ..

i lock the door while bf ing but my toddler Knocks the door badly and that diverts baby a lot .. Baby pulls my wedding chain, scratches my face, play with me while bf ing .. Naughty !

 

Anyone still nursing / pumping ?

 

Hi Anitha, my son will turn 6 months in 2 weeks and I nurse at home and pump at work. Even, my son gets diverted easily and loves to play with my DH and older son. How long do you plan to continue nursing?

How much solid does your lo eat? I read the quantity online. People say their babies eat 1.5 jar of food etc.

Mine eats around an ice cube of food for every meal. That too I have to distract him for that intake. I don't know if he is eating well and if it's really enough for him.

I don't think he lost weight. But want to make sure he doesn't eat very little.

 

Uma dont go by the data in the net, even i had same problem, i saw babies drinking more than 5 ounce of milk, mine finds difficult to complete 4 oz

Solids i try to distract play rhymes n make variation. My baby likes sweet potato pureed with a spoon of moong dhall n cooked rice with ghee.
but quantity will by3 o 4 tbs

How old is your little one? I'm measuring by ice cube tray for now..

 

He completed 6 months on oct 16th.
I cook like this, i have baking measurement spoons, so in that 1 teaspoon rice 1 teaspoon moong dhall cook with lil carrot or beans or 2 inch sweet potato. Grind nicely in mixie n feed him in ketchup consistency

 

Dhivya, thanks and that's what I do. I just don't measure everything. Instead I take ice cube trays as a measurement as I freeze his purees quite often.

 

Hi ladies I'm here after a long time. Is your lo sitting yet? Mine isn't. He loves to stand a lot but not interested to sit. Should I be concerned.?

.my lo hasn't got a tooth yet. He became 7 months old last week. Hes doing good on solids.
