and also oil content in blood is high .... For this she told to eat seaweed..
any other suggestions for my friend ?

Someone started a thread on this same issue a few days back. Please look it up in helath section it may help u.

Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats — found in olive, and canola oils — tend to improve HDL. Nuts, fish and other foods containing omega-3 fatty acids are other good choices for improving LDL ( bad) cholesterol to HDL ( good) cholesterol ratio.

Also exercise improves it and weight loss if overweight. For every 6 pounds (2.7 kilograms) of extra weight we lose, it is calculated that HDL may increase by 1 mg/dL (0.03 mmol/L).
alcohol and smoking also increase the bad cholesterol ( ldl). Hope this helps.

Walnuts and almonds reduce blood cholesterol. Rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, walnuts also help keep blood vessels healthy.
But only a handful each day( about 50 grams) as they are quite high in calories. Also i have read that wash and soak them previous night and eat the next day, it makes them more digestible i guess. Hope is helps.

Tell your friend to include lot of garlic ( in raw form or otherwise ) in his diet. It is known to reduce the amt of bad cholesterol and improve levels of good cholesterol.
Also, have almonds and do suggest to exercise regularly..
    Hope it helps

From what I can see, her triglycerides are high. For high triglycerides, it is best to stay on a low fat/carb diet and exercise regularly. I was told by my doc that if it doesn't go done to normal range within six months of diet and exercise, then cholesterol reducing drugs need to be started. Unfortunately, high triglycerides apparently are also inherited. So even with the dieters changes and exercises, there is a slight chance that she may indeed need to start meds. Ask her to monitor cholesterol after six months and look for improvements.
