He remained aloof as usual then. People just didn't care about him. Neither did he, but was provoked when Someone asked him questions some. "Why are you sad all the time?", Was enough to trigger him fully. It felt like someone poured salted lime On his wound. He acted just silly. "Were you ever been in a doomed state, When you preferred dying than living? I miss a dear one and the loss is great! How can I look happy?", he ended saying. An awkward silence followed then. "I know how it feels, son!", the man Said, adding, "I felt just the same when My brother passed away last month!". He looked up shaken and felt so odd. "Sorry Sir!", he could then just blurt. "Alright!", the man said and patted him hard. As they parted, he felt less hurt.
When problems come everybody thinks that its only "him" that's suffering ,but when they open up to the world , there are lot many with different set of problems , When they started sharing it with each other that makes their burden look less and gives a mental boost as others are also suffering from some or the other sort of problems. its a general human tendency.
You are spot on Kishoreg. That was a personal experience and I already wrote a snippet on it in IL a year or so back. Thanks for another nice feedback and like. -rgs
Here it is, Kishoreg. Took me almost an hour to get this, as I don't document whatever I write anywhere else. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/snippets-of-life-non-fiction/222867-similar.html -rgs
You don't need to, Kishoreg. Pleasure is mine. I had to dig out what I wrote earlier and read some of my own snippets. Thanks for asking too. -rgs
