Does your spouse tell one/ two bad thing about you to anybody else?

Oh! Tell me about it! I am not married, so I don't know if I am the right person to post on this thread, but I can tell you something about my dad.

All these years he continues to tell just anyone when the topic comes up that my mom can't make puran poli as good as his mom!

I don't find it funny anymore, yesterday was gudi padwa, and he started telling the same story to some guests that had come home, about how my mom didn't bother learning it from his mom, and now the best puran poli in this world does not exist!

Every time the story is the same, but the audience is different!

 

She is now used to it, but honestly I get very very annoyed.

He thinks he has a great sense of humour and says such things to entertain our guests!

But in reality he his making fun of his wife of 28 years!

It is not like they are newly married, and he is missing his ma's food.
My ma has been serving him for 28 years, my grandma passed away years ago.

Yesterday when he said the same thing, I very stubbornly said in front of the guests that I love the puran poli which my mother makes.

 

I have the same issue with my husband. He thinks he is entertaining the guests. I know one day my girls will tell him that. These days I won't even near to the place where he was talking.

He goes and tells everyone that my wife scolds me.If I really scold him he wouldn't even dare to say that.,Lot of time we can't change or make them to see our point. Other than just leaving them to there fate.

 

I dont think my DH ever did this. He never cribs or complains about me to any of his friends. Even if he did I dont think it was anything major. But I'm trying think of even a small one and I dont remember any.


I also make sure that I dont say anything about him to others as he doesnt like it. There was this one instance were I said something and I didnt think he wld take it seriously, but he did. Later he told me that when I dont that to you, why are you doing this. Would you like it if I say something about you to your friends? What can I say to that. So I also dont tease or crib about him to others particularly to his friends.

 

i dont think my dh had share anything personal about me with others. he doesnt talk bad about me.

 

No way...my DH has never spoken to others ill or bad about me..Not even to me he has said anything bad till date about my behaviour/mannerism/whatever for that matter...Such a sweetie-pie he is but I complain to his friends that he is not spending time with me and is busy always..(not behind his back but in front if him itself)
