    dear sowpar,
I know that you know the story by heart. In spite of that you have evinced interest to read more about the story.I bow to your grace.
Amalanadhipiran pulled me to Divya Prapandham. Now I am learning Thiruvaimozhi under an able Master.
yes I know that Kondal Vannanai Kovalannai Vennai unda vaayan paasuram.
Regarding numbers I once heard an astrologer saying to his client, you should do 21 prathakshinams of the nava graham. Not one more or one less. But mind you you should not count. Well, that's the case of double-bind. You can never do that.

In a film song I have heard these lines, which are relevant to our relationship with God.
    Heroine would sing, "எண்ணிக்கை தீர்ந்தாலும் முத்தங்கள் தீராது"
For which the hero would respond,
    "எண்ணிக்கை பார்த்தாலே முத்தங்கள் ஆகாது"
Same is the case with God.
thanks. I am planning to start a serial about a month later.Till such time I will be writing about Ramanuja and his disciples.

    regards,

    Dear Padma,
Thanks for the nice fb. Yes I first wanted to end the story. But then wanted all the ILites to savour the full depth of this great story and hence I sort of made into parts. Aachi means a lady, amma etc. In Chettiar community the ladies are called only Aachi. It's like our calling a lady, Madam.
    Stay tuned, Padma.
    regards,

    You are an expert in சுருங்கச் சொல்லி விளங்க வைத்தல் !
you are right, there should be no question of counting when it comes to God...what a nice example you have chosen.... :)

    Dear Sridhar sir,

I totally agree with you on this:

God has to be in our bedroom, in our toilet, in our study and in our reception. When I first studied Gita I took the book to my bedroom. Unless Gita comes out of our Puja rooms, it will not have any relevance for us.

I don't think God is to be confined to the puja room like a sick patient in his room. We have to be pleased that the person refrained from using vulgar words at least in one place.

    Dear Sridhar

I kept on clicking the REFRESH button to see if more is coming. What a touching story and an excellent narration.I had a LOVE marriage and hence i was completely in tune with the hero and heroine and i was in my rewind mode.....10years before!!! It was really relaxing to read this story on a friday afternoon after working almost 12-13hrs for the last 2 months at work that i did'nt have time for even opening my IE.

I am in complete consensus with you with regards to the prayers and rituals we make in front of our ammachi. True most times since we know the person we are talking to is an embodiment of love, we tend to pour all our tensions on the almighty to ease our heaviness in the heart. I should probably learn to not do that..

Well really waiting for the continuation..We have a long holiday so i am sure i will have all the time to read the rest and post you my thoughts.

    Thanks Sridhar!!

    regards
    Vidya

    Dear Sridhar,
I read the story yesterday itself, but due to power failure could not reply.
As you have said, I too have read this somewhere. But just knowing something does not mean that I can tell that in such interesting way. Because, the success of the story in the way it is told.
Now waiting for the remaining part eagerly.

    Dear Janani,
This is not a classic from my pen. I am justing taking some pages from the life of Sri Ramanuja and give it in a new packing so that we can enjoy it better and in the process also grow spiritually. Shivaji is just about ok. But Saroja Devi.. hm....
People and time are confined to love and not the other way round. You are right - adhaiyum thaandi punithamaanathu..

I am happy that you enjoyed the story.
Stay tuned for the next episode.
    regards,
