    anu,

I don't know where you are staying in chrompet. In radha nagar, there is a matriculation school St.Marks. They are having classes from pre-kg. If it is near to your house, you can give a try.

    Jeni,
Shiksha and St.Marks both are equidistant from my house. I will try there too. Inspite of that 5 days discrepancy, Can I try for LKG for her? Will schools accept her? I want to know is it a hard and fast rule kind. If she gets into LKG then I cannot shift her to CBSE, Am I right? Please share your thoughts. She will complete 3 by this 1st week of Aug.

    Anu,

SSM and vivekanada are very strict about the age limit even in days. I don't have idea about other schools how they are about age limit.

When I have contacted SSM for pre-kg(JM 1) admission for my dd, she is 6 days elder for the age limit and they denied the application. I have admitted her in SSM directly in JM2 only when they have filled the vacancy

2 years back I stayed in kodambakkam and planned to put my kid in la chatelaine only.I got mixed reviews about the school.

My neighbours kid is studying in the school. She had a bad experience. One day, the school van left the kid in school itself while returning. The driver told the kid was absent. The parents cried and went to school and found that the kid is in school.

Just beware of this school named Lords international in West Tambaram, Chennai. The correspondent is a lady full of arrogance, not ready to hear to any feedback. They sent one of the students, writing his term exam, out of the school just because the parent stated that the staff didn't treat her with respect. The kid is just a 5th grader and what is his fault and just imagine his state and experience about schooling in India. This is in spite of the fact that the parent had shifted from abroad and paid to the tune of INR 75k for the period of just 3 months in the school. Probably they have a political background so, swindling of money is just a natural process. No mark of any institutionalism. If you are someone shifting from the US or UK, don't even think about this school. You can earn back money you lost but can't teach good principles to the kids, putting them in schools like Lords'.... there is nothing international about this school to say the least.... even the name Lords' is a misnomer.... only Lord save everyone of us from such schools...
