Any product that has paraben, carcinogen and toxic chemicals has been found to cause cancer. But that being said you would find it extremely difficult to find a product that without one or more of these chemicals.

The argument was mainly for Baby Shampoo. The same shampoo from UK does not contain quanternium-15 (releases formaldehyde), which is one of the main toxin named for causing cancer.

I am not able to locate the source now but I read this somewhere:
Formaldehyde is released by pears (fruit) too. It is natural but the amount is less around 60ppm. In the shampoo, the toxins produce around 200 ppm of formaldehyde. The EU bans products that produce more than 2000ppm. So I guess it is safe to a certain extent.

I also use Mustela shampoo (from Europe). It do not contain quaternium-15 but it does have parabens. [FONT=Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif]

thanks for reply... i never thought to take a look about this products thinking as its for babies they must be 100% safe.. but its not like old days where they do things for safety but now a days its more of business and profit purpose

Cosmetics are subject to contamination and bacteria growth. These chemicals are being used to prevent the growth of bacteria.

I have used California Baby products. It is paraben free and does not contain these chemicals. It is pricey though.

my grandson is 6 months old . We apply gingelly (sesame) oil and massage his body and then bath him with besan flour and it keeps his skin soft and shiny.
