Experienced mums, Please tell me your feedback about this abacus class. Apart from abacus it promises of developing the personality of children. did this benefit the children. Do u know about any kumon centres in doha
Braino braino is a very good program.its about 10 level prgrm.its really helpful for children to develop their skills.
Hello Rizaparveen, My DD is going to Brainobrain and now she is in 4th level. It is very good course. She is now more confident in solving the maths problems.About personal develpment, they say that they do group discussions, memory test etc. But daily or if not possible atleast alternate days Kids have to sit and solve the problems with whatever method they teach in class. One more plus point of this class i liked is that,if kid miss the class they take back up class for it.Also if any concept is not clear to kid or is weak in some methods they take back up classes for it . Fees are Qr-350 per month. No idea about Kumon classes. Manisha
Manisha, I would also like to know about the age limit to start for Brainobrain. And, when did you put your DD there?
Soumya and Madhu, Not sure but in there office i have seen admission starting from 4-5 yrs.I put my DD when she was in 2nd std. i.e.after completing 7 yrs. There syllabus cover addition, substraction, multiplication, division. Methods are different than what they teach in school. So while solving school maths problems kids have to solve by methods, and follow the steps which they learn in school. So my personal opinion is that,to avoid the confusion its better they first learn basic methods of all 4 in school and then they start abacus class. (Please check with them if they have different programme for younger kids,@3-5 yrs) Manisha
Thank you so much Manisha.. Will definitely check whether there is a different program for kids @3 - 5 yrs.
