Pls Share everything about twins

I don't know about low birth weight, but my child was normal birth weight. But I can share my experience. My child has been on diapers since day 1, like Pampers, Huggies etc and never had any issues. But the secret is to apply diaper rash cream diligently in every diaper change. More during summer months.
Be it just urine diaper, or potty diaper, I have been applying diaper cream generously in the diaper area, this keep friction and sweat away and keeps them happy and fine.

I delivered at 36th week itself as I had lots of complications fro 7th month itself. Also babies had IUGR, so it was agreed to go for elective c sec at 36th week. babies weight was 1.8kgs only and they lost some weight initially. I have regular checkup for babies this week, will know their progress by then.

praying that they catchup sooner as its so difficult to see them tiny.

I understand your situation completely dear! I will pray for for you! However sorry if am asking too many questions. Am now in my 32nd week. how do you know if your babies are weighing correctly for each week ? And also what is IUGR ? :O

 

Sugan iugr is intrauterine growth restriction, i.e babies dont grow further or growth lags

 

Hi Sugan,As happyn said, its some growth restriction. at 35th werk scan we found the growth was lagging by 2 weeks and that's why we decided for elective c section on 36th week. growth was fine till 32nd week scan. Apart from this I had cervical in competency and my cervix was open internally by 1 cm even with the stitch from 20th week and by 35th week, length was some 3mm. adding to all this I had lost weight, severely constipated in last 2 months,had gastritis, severe itching .......oh god.....what not in last 2 months. However, we all 3 survived the toughest phase by god's grace. Now, my only concern is reaching normal weight for the babies. I hope almighty will take us through this phase also successfully.regards,deepa

 

Hello twin mommies....,I'm waiting for more responses on using diaper from day one without getting messy with skin rashes. Also, does any of you found feeding pillow useful whole bf twins? please share you're experiences as well.regards,deepa

Glad that you had crossed the tough phase dear! God will sure guide you through this also. My prayers there for you! Btw.. I have one doubt.. as to.. When did you start lactation as in started BF to your babies ? Am so concerned and nervous thinking of this fact!

my babies were in nicu for observation for couple of days. Also, the milk secretion did not start to me until 4 days. my gyne prescribed some Tabs, later which I was able to lactate. Don't worry about all those now dear.... your body will do the necessary things needed for you and your babies...
