Vijay TV pushes the anchors and actors to kollywood Tamil industry. They did it for Santhanam, Sivakarthikeya and Sendhil (Saravanan Meenakshi actor). They tried with Ma.Ka.Pa and it failed. So, I guess they are finding new anchors to push to industry.

Last week happen to watch this show, Sai vignesh sang yar tharuvar indha ariyasanam, simply superb. I didnt expect young contestant like him can able to sing difficult old song like this. God bless this child and I pray for him to win the title. thanks.

 

Syed Subahan, it's high time someone calls him out for the same kind of songs he keeps dishing out round after round. He should be challenged in a semi-classical or some genre like that. He did not even go to the danger zone... very unfair!

I was thinking of writing about this. even in devotional round he did lot of mistakes but he didn't even come to danger zone. I don't know why the judges are always defensive when he makes any mistakes. It is unfair shenbagaraj and rizwan got eliminated while syed still in the contest.

 

I hate this soundarya, especially her over scene actions. I wonder how can she continuously shake her head when she is talking or listening to others talking to her...

 

True...I thought Shenbagaraj was pretty consistent...but all the explanation they gave for eliminating him was "you've got low scores in this round - it's unfortunate, but you're out" :-( :-(

 

Syed's anjali anjali was horrible. I couldn't believe the judges only said "it was not your best". I would infact call it his worst performance. I really think they should challenge Syed out on a classical/semi-classical genre or an Ilayaraja melody.

I understand he is an ARR fan, but that can only get someone so far. All the others are making efforts to learn/practice different genres, but Syed seems to be escaping all the time!
