    About the Vaccum cleaners

    Dear San ravi,

Yes there are so many to choose from, it is mind boggling. First of decide your budget. You get cleaners these days ranging from $50 to over $300. I think ideally if you spend around 100 bucks, you should get a good cleaner.

About the brand, all the brands are good. All of them have cleaners in various price ranges . You have to go look at the style , colour and what you like and what you need ( ie all the various cleaning tools that come attached. length of the power cord, the power of the vaccuum etc..)then decide. I would advise you to go to a website called www.mysimon.com and there you can compare the different cleaners that are available.

The cleanerswith bags are usually the older models. Here, you will have to replace the bag that collects all the dust and garbage from the carpet when you vaccum periodically. The bagless one has a clear transparent cup holder that collects the dust . You can see when the cup is full and then empty it out. The bagless one is less maintainence and looks nice.
Also look for a cleaner that comes with a HEPA air filter. that keeps the air cleaner.

Hope this helps. I have a Bissell cleanview Bagless upright vaccuum with Hepa air filter and am very happy with it.

    Hi,

Presently I am using bisell 12 amp vaccum cleaner. This one is my second vaccum cleaner. previosly I used Eureka but it got some problem after 1 year.
I recommend this Bisell vaccum cleaner because it is worthy and cheap. I bought this from Walmart for $65. they have some sale going on that time and I am using this from the past 3 years.

    Bagged and bagless:

bagged: 1)u have to clean or throw the bag everytime u use.

    2) U have to buy the bag whenevr u are out of it.

Baggless: 1)U have to take it off the dust everytime u use but don't have to buy the bags anymore. Only cap u use for holding the dust.

2)Sometime, u need to buy some extra parts for the baggless so becarefull about that

Advice: If u have any alergic family member.....just buy bagless ones....so u can just throw the bag whenevr it is full. No need to remove the cap and throw the dust in the garnbage can.

I am using bisell and it is cheap and efficient. Moreover I can just clean the dust cap and filters with water. Not neccesarily need any extra cleaning or detergent to clean that. In addition to that it works on low and high carpets. U can adjust the vaccum cleaner by turning the little knob undeneath.

The link for bisell vaccum cleaner which I presently own.I don't think now they are giving this for 65 bucks.

    Thank you.

    Dear Sanravi..

You have received a very comprehensive reply from Sriklak and a good link to compare the various vacuum cleaners from Vandhana. Dyson vacuum cleaners are the best without doubt, but comes with a price tag. The rest are more or less of equal qualitiy and price range..each brand having a wide range. So spend some time studying those comparisons. You will find your choice. Good luck:)
