    I had typed my post and then hit on post only to realize my net connection was not working :bonk next time will save before posting :)

    Hi kkrish mam, ipad is hubby's, he is liking it! I really liked that you had allocated some time for writing the post and when the time was up, you just stopped and went to another work. Inspired by you I am timing myself too its helping me curb the habit simply wasting time

    My updates:

    Yesterday: We did a nice puja and then went to temple and had good darshan. Felt very happy. later we had a good discussion on bhagavad gita at home. Felt very peaceful. Prepared dosa and had it with curry leaves powder for dinner. Walked for an hour and called it a day!

    Today: Prepared breakfast dosa + tomato chutney, vangibath and cucumber raita for lunch. Have to squeeze in some cleaning today

    Oh no shalu, I have stopped being a clock, the moment I followed the clock properly.. 15 mins, drop dead..

    Yest's updates..

    Made b/f, packed lunchfor DH before 8.30am..

    Gave b/f to kids

    Did 1/2 hour aerobics.

    15 min 1 kitchen cabinet, 15 min master b/r+ kids room, 15 min living room as per flylady, 15 mins 1 mirror, switch and door., 15 min washroom.


    30 min each dishwashing plus wiping 1 fridge rack and wiping one kitchen cabinet door.. in the morning and evening..

    15 min vacuum

    15 min treadmill in the evening.

    Anu, He is going to be 7 years old next month. He is in 2nd std now. His
    syllabus is heavy. So i make him study everyday so that on the time of exam he should not struggle a lot. During exam time i will give only revisions. He always do spelling mistakes. So i make him write all the hard words(no mercy in this).
    Yesterday prepared(actually tried for the first time) oil less masala peanuts in microwave. After some revision to ds went for a brisk walk in the corridor. After lunch, watched 'Rama rajayam' in the tv with ds and expalined the story as it was in historical tamil(even i came to know the story of Luva- Kusa,hehehe:bowdown). In between the movie prepared aloo pumkin cutlet and sago kheer for the snacks. Then again brisk walk for 30 min. Again test for ds. Prepared veg wheat upma for dinner. Went to bed so early.

    Thursday: woke up at 5 as hubby had to leave early. Prepared ragi pancake(sweet adai) for his bf and puliyogare for his lunch with fruit and veg salads. Then woke up ds and final revision(only the hard words). Prepared dosa for his bf and lemon rice for his lunch. After dropping ds , tried dal dhokla for my bf(tried for the first time), Went for a brisk walk in the corridor. After bf, cleaned the vessels and kitchen counter. Took rest for some time and surfing. One of my friend called me and invited to her home. Went there and had lunch over there.(feast for both stomach and ears.:rotfl)
    After coming back prepared mix grain pancake for ds's snack. went for a brisk walk and picked ds. Now in IL.

    Yesterday as busy day.i did yoga Monday and do not know that my whole body was paining like hell. Was too tired to. I managed doing my ls walk early in the morning and it added my pain. I had to do tons of work despite that and even the climate was too hot. Yesterday made bf and DH left yearly. Soaked rice and dal for idli batter and also for black urad dal dosa. Did ls walk. Loo got up, cleaned and fed his kanchi. Playing with LO. Took bath, gave him also bath and did morning prayers. Had bf. Started preparing lunch. Folded clothes and arranged in wardrobe. Put dal in grinder and cleaned LO toy bin. Got receipe for aval kesari from Amma over phone. She tried in electric cooker and it came out well. So she suggested me too. I too did same for the prasadam and was a hit. Finished lunch after DH came and put rice n grinder. Put LO to nap. Cleaned Pooja shelf and kitchen . Also cleaned vessels. Mde batter for black urad dal dosa too. Mobbed floors too. Put kolam and then krishnan Patham.lO got up and gave him milk,prepared kesari.dressed my LO as Krishna. That took a lot of time. I too got fresher up. Made ready everything for Pooja, arranged all the bakshanams made. DH came , got fresher and we did Pooja and prayers. Two friends came home. Played with LO and were talking for an hour. Cleaned up kitchen and prepared dinner and then washed vessels and arranged toys and went to bed.

    Thursday, got up, morning routines done. Made bread toast for DH and left by 7 :20 and then mild exercise, LO got up and gave his kanchi. Played with LO. Had Skype call with Amma and appa. Took bath, read sai sarithra. Fed LO and then had bf. prepared lunch. Gave bath to LO. Now in il and trying to put LO for nap. After he wakes , planning for a walk as the climate is good today.

    @ kkrish ma'am, next time I will also,try using our camping stove. I think that is a nice idea. Thanks for your inputs. And yes, I lost weight by diet and also exercise. I stopped my ice creams for over a year and pizza since fb 20-3. After feb2013, I would have had a total of 2 slice pizza. Also,,I replaced white rice with brown rice...I still have to loose to reach my ideal weight. I do exercises at home like ls walk, JM shred, Denise Austin work outs, outside walk. I cannot go to any gym with a naughty LO at home.. I try to do workouts when ever he sleeps. Specially in after noon nap time or early morning before he wakes up.

    Hi Friends,

    I am very much new to IL and read some of posts in the forum... Just want to introduce about myself... I have been working in a IT industry for 6 yrs and after my kutty born... i resigned my job and now we came to abroad. Here i am feeling very lonely eventhough spending whole time with my kid.. But after reading some of the post in IL and i am feeling like talking with my friends... Very happy to be part of this TIME MANAGEMENT.... I want to learn new things and want to do part time job... Yeah i know this is not the TOPIC to be discussed here... But telling about myself.... I need some motivation also ladies..

    Today Lunch - Ghee rice and Aloo...

    Hi all:hiya

    I have decided to finish off all the work before 8 PM so that i could spend some quality time with my DD & DH. Yesterday reached home by 6.15 as i got some groceries from a super market. Had dinner and gave food to DD. Washed the vessles, tiffen boxes and sink. Cleaned the gastove & cooktop. Finished off all the work by 7.45 PM. Had lots of time to exercise and play with my DD.

    A bigg hai to Kamala mam, Golumolu, Gae3, Shallu, Gorgeous, Mahe, Akila, anupamag and others

    Hi all,

    Thank you all for your concern about my health.

    Had a good week overall. On tuesday my mom came here around 11. we started preparing bakshanams. By lunch we had finished doing kai murukku and seedai. Dad finished some outside work, on the way back bought few provisions for me, joined us for lunch. Post lunch we prepared thattai. Both sessions I was making murukku and thattai sitting on the floor as I couldn't stand for long. Mom took care of frying as she couldn't sit for long. So our combination worked out . Unfortunately the whole day was shutdown day. Parents left by 5.30. Packed some for them. At 6 electricity restored. soaked around half kg of rice for adhirasam and vella seedai. After preparing dinner, ground and sieved the flour. After dinner made jaggery syrup and mixed with flour to keep it overnight. Hubby helped in pouring the syrup while I mixed. Packed murukku, thattai and salt seedai for mil and sil since they both were not in a position to prepare.

    On wednesday DH took the packets to give them on the way to office. After routines of seeing DH and DS off, started preparing adhirasam and vella seedai. It came out well. DD had holiday. Then had lunch soaked rice for maakolam for putting tiny tots of krishna all over the house. Had a nice 1 hour nap, told DD to wake me up at 3. She did. Got up made coffee, then ground the rice for kolam. Dd enthusiastically put the tiny tots all over with coconut coir wrapped with old dothi cloth. I washed the front entrance and put big kanya kolam in front. Prepared the pooja room, made aval with jaggery. Since we had music class, as soon as my DS came made him to do the pooja (ashtothram and other proceeding manthras) around 5 itself. Had taste of all prasads, while just leaving for class, received sms saying "no class". Went to mom's to give that days' preparations. Came home and took rest. All skipped dinner. Just before picking up DS while taking U turn, scooter skidded and I fell down. But there was no injuries.

    Thursday again routines. DD had Krishna Jayanthi function at her school. Dressed her up in pattu paavadai and accessories. Dh dropped her in school and waited there. I joined little later. We saw their performances (DD was in bhajan, few background songs and a solo song). Always their school functions are worth mentioning and inspiring. Came home around 11, took some rest. Got up and had lunch, then stitched a blouse. Then evening after kids came it is all routines. Had the impact of yesterday's fall.

    Today morning no cooking. DH had luncheon meeting. DS said he will have in canteen since I had body pain. Though I was recovering from left leg pain by massaging with different oils and hot water bath, my right leg was paining on the spots where I hit the ground. Anyway got up at 6, had bath around 7.30, then was feeling better soaked rice and dhal, corn for batter. Made chapathi as lunch for my dd. I managed with all left overs of yesterday. In the morning all chores of cleaning up, switched on the grinder, tv, stitching the buttons and loops for the finished blouse, in between monitoring the grinding. After that was done, had lunch, slept for almost one and half hours. DS arrived early. then was finalizing visiting card design which I have been working on for last two days after 10 pm. After DD came made corn dosa for all. Went to music class. There also editing the card, came home made dinner. ordered for card printing online. Now in IL. Since I had a good sleep in the afternoon, not feeling sleepy.

    Anyway I have to retire to wake up at 5.

    hi super ladies.. loved reading all your updates.. let me try to be regular here..
    to give an intro about me, am in US, with a 4.5 year DD, currently inlaws are with me and leaving this month end..
    my usual day start at 5 :15 - 5:30 am , leave for work around about 6:45 - 7:15 am, come back home at 3:30 pm after picking up DD from school and then again work from home between 4:30 - 6 pm

    yesterday was a busy day coming back home
    made 108 rava kozhakattai with my MIL for a ganapathy homam this saturday..
    we have radha kalayanam in Virginia over this weekend, so went and got groceries for that on wednesday..
    had to make 1 kg ghee ready as well..

    i will post more updates soon..
