I hug my DS when saying good night and while waking him up.He enjoys when I take the reverse role.

I also tell him that he is too beautiful and making me proud with his extra ordinary talents. I mean it although I do it to boost his confidence level.
He feels extremely happy, and proudly tell others that he is a clever boy. A mom's certificate has such a value in a child's self confidence level.

    Very nice thread AG...

My DS is 4yrs old...I say "Love you so much kanna" to my DS every morning and night before sleep...we chat about how was our day went in the evening...cuddle in the bed before going to sleep...read stories for him...listen to his imaginary stories...he is a small "question bank", so patiently listen to them and answer his question, if i may not able..we google it together and learn about it...when he helps me in house chores, appreciating it for his efforts..surprising him with his favorite toys/movies...shopping is best part where we both enjoy together, i make him involve at home in everything....
