    Dear Ladies,
My husband got an offer to work for an oil and gas company in New Plymouth (Taranaki). I have a daughter of 4 years old who is schooling right now. Could you help me by sharing your feedback on my following queries?

    1. Does NP have indian community to mingle with?
    2. How about getting indian groceries in NP? Do they have indian grocery shop/s?
    3. Any recommended school for my 4 year old gal?

    Appreciate your comments/ feedback.

    Hi there,

You are welcome to New Plymouth. We have about 140 Indian families here who are involved in celebrations of various festivals. We have more than four shops here where you get Indian groceries. All the primary schools are great !! Fitzroy, Mangorei and Central are the ones I know about...and they are awesome!! Please follow following links for the latest Independence day celebration that took place on last Saturday...

Hope this helps and all the best in your relocating!!
