Buddies Required!!! Lose 3 kgs by 30th June

    Today, so far so good...
    Having a potluck tonight.
    we are doing veg grilling...
    And I am cooking veg fried rice.
    I will try my best to keep myself in track. will come here when ever possible to keep me in control today.
    past 2 days, my diet was not good. still somehow managed to come to my ticker weight.

    today morning i did 2 mile walk. now,going to start cooking for the party.see u all later...

    And my dear friends...I promise I will go through all the posts tonight after the party and declare week 1 results. excuse me for the loooooooong delay!

    June status-

    I will go through all the posts this weekend and come up with a game plan for myself. I do not have access to a gym so I should concentrate on dieting and maybe walking daily.

    Morekali aka more kuzhu is a dish made in south......more of a quick and easy one.

    You take some rice flour and saok in sour butter milk/curd with salt.. Then heat oil in a pan. Do tadka with mustard seeds, urid dhal, hing, fresh curry patha and red chillies - ideal for this is the mormilagai which are green chillies soaked in salked butter milk, dried in sun and preserved......you can eat them in dishes.

    once the seasoning is done, add the rice flour dissolved in buttermilk and cook till done.....it you leave in low heat, it will form what we call "kanthal" in tamil. Sorry do not know the english translation.

    Since Rice flour is not good for health, now I make with ragi flour mixed with rice or fine sooji.

    BF – 5 small puri and vegg gravy
    Snack – Ragi porridge
    Lunch – 3 small puri & Veg gravy
    Dinnery – will take rice water

    Workout – 50mts brisk walk

    I had lot of fruits. But, had outside food for dinner.

    Fenugreek seeds with warm water in empty stomach
    Green tea
    Breakfast: Sweet melon + pomegranate + 5 Almonds
    1 banana + 1 cucumber
    Lunch: 2 chapathis + chana masala + cooked cabbage
    Milk with boost + 2 dates + fruits (plum, lychee, cherry)
    Dinner: Outside. Dosa + Veg. Briyani

    Water: More than 4 litres
    Exercise: 30 mins treadmill

    Yesterday was too much tiring... Didn't have time for exercise as I did a lot of cleaning and cooking stuff.

    This Week has become a total disaster.

    Lunch: Chicken Briyani + Aval Payasam + Sweet
    Coffee
    Dinner: Heavy dinner as we had guests to our home. Chicken Briyani + chapathi + Raitha + Chicken 65 + Chicken curry + Curd rice. (Had 3 Chapathis. Tasted rest of the items a little)

    Water: 3 litres
    Exercise: Nil

    My update for today:
    water- 3 ltrs
    food- honey lemon water, roasted channa,half apple
    water melon
    1 chapati, curd rice, squash subji,yogurt
    tea
    party food- lots of grilled veggie,noodles and veg fried rice, fruit salad- heavy dinner.

    exercise-2 mile walk

    My challenges for week 2:
    1. healthy snack all days-dinner heavy
    2.floor workout- 5 days-4 /5 days done
    3. gym- cardio- targeting 800 calories 2 days in a week-not yet
    4. 1 day fruit diet- combined with nuts and liquid soup in between-done


    Points- 1+1+0.5+0+0.5=3
