Suggestions for healthy break fast?

    As iam looking for keep my self fit and slim..iam always looking for some healthy break fast...i dont want to skip my break fast...So friends suggest some lite and healthy break fast...im looking forward your suggestion...:thumbsup

    Just drink one tumbler complan or horlicks in water and take 2 slices of bread.

    DAily same break fast..for one day it is fine..but daily means not possiable...

    I think you take cereals,oats and some low calorie foods in breakfast for your health by this you become a fit and healthy.....

    Chad,

    Try different Upmas with Sooji or Poha.You can put some vegetables like peas,carrots,beans,tomatoes etc.Have some fruit alongside like a banana or apple.You can have milk also.

    Another option is having a bread toast with omelet.Have some fruits along side or a cup or glass of milk.

    You can have Idlis too..Idlis are pretty much healthy too.

    Once in a while,you can have Aloo parathas,peas paratha,onion paratha with yogurt on the side.If you are working,parathas can be done during weekends.

    Sometimes,you can also prepare a smoothie of say whatever seasonal fruits like banana and apple,if and whatever available.This feels heavy and full and very refreshing.

    I sometimes take mango shake in summer.It feels very full ,though full of calories.

    As breakfast is the most important meal,it should not be that light.A good balance of protein and carbohydrates is good. A good breakfast makes our brain work properly and also body feels great.

    You can have Idli/ Poha/ Vermicelli/ Upma/ Plain dos

    Then cornflakes/ oats/ muesli/ sprouts

    Paranthas with minimal filling/ minimal oil
