MIndi dear I am late here , anyway not very late. I also thought you dont cry and always smile. You have narrated so well. In younger days we all cry I think sometimes with reason and sometimes without reason. When my sister got married I cried so much because we were very close. We used to go everywhere together, share everything, sometimes get angry too but getting angry by my sister was to correct me being the younger sister and I getting angry why she should tell me. But we cant do without each other. She got married and was leaving for Delhi so I could not stop myself. I think one whole day I cried. That was the time I cried most I think. Even when I got married I did not cry. Then later I dont remember when I cried.

I also cry when there are touching scenes in serials or in movies. Sometimes when I feel very low I feel very heavy in the heart and cry. Not always that too sometimes.

Dear viji, the thread is complete only with your visit here. I am glad that you do not remember when you cried last. (Just curious..Did you not cry now when you had to part from Gopika? My aunt does that always when she leaves her grandchildren ,thats why I asked you :))))

    Dear Mindi Chechi,
24hrs weren't seeming to be enough for my work load in the past 5months. But thanks to a lizard which not sure if it wanted to do some good to me or wanted to take revenge, made me hurt myself and lo! I am here :)

Oh appu, I cannot imagine I have to thank a lizard for seeing you here. LOL
On a serious note how you would have run to get yourself hurt.Sympathies from a fellow lizard hater :cheers

Mindi dear I did not cry when I had to part with Gopika but my heart was heavy. I am not able to explain my feelings, I think you can understand. I think with age our crying becomes less , I mean if we cry also tears does not come but we feel heavy in the heart.

    Hi mindi !
    Such a nice post!
To be honest I was not a very emotional person:)
While growing up I would find it very funny when my mom would cry at drop of hat, she just could not control her emotions, right from movies to serials, seeing beggar kids, listening to songs her ganga jamuna would start and me as a kid and teenager would get angry with her! I would tell ma its just a movie! And yeah , not to forget goodbyes, when in college my mom would cry while sending me back And mostly people cry while leaving but mom could also cry when i would come home and she came to pick me up and that too when I came home every weekend! I would get so angry on mom and tell her to stop crying!
She was so embarrassed that she went to a homeopath to take medicine to control her tears! Then we had to tell her its OK mom , don't take unnecessary medicine , we know you are emotional and we love you like that , she cried even on listening that!
I cried when I lost my dad and after that I think I have become very emotional and when my brother would get late for home or mom would come to meet me I just could not control my tears:(, mom has become stronger now and does not cry that often , may she felt she needed to be strong in front of us.
At my wedding, during my bidai I had thought I wont cry as I did not want to disturb mom, but I just glanced at my brother and he rushed to hug me and cried like a baby and had to literally seperated from me.
Latest I cried when my ds was born ,in fact both me and mom cried when she brought the baby to me , I guess those were treats of joy and now I can relate to my mom,s emotions so much. I even cry when my baby cries and does not calm down which makes my mom angry who tells me to stop crying and soothe the baby instead, I think the circle has completed now:)

    Hey mindi..
You know how good I felt when I read through this crybaby's post:) Ulagathulaye naan daan periya azumoonji nu nenachutu irunden...But all these fb's proves glycerination is not that uncommon as I thought it to be:) Feeling damn relieved. I too cry for every other silly happenings so neednt tell about emotional movies. Thieva thirumagal just opened the tap & even for this scene when vikram sends sara to school for the first time I started crying. The way he stands outside the school & the BGM was really touching. I also criy like hell while watching Vaaranam aayiram & a walk to remember inspite of seeing them n no. of times:) Same pinch seeing dogs dead, cattle wounded, hens & goats ready for massacre outside a butcher's shop, any random person's funeral which I see on the way, slums, etc etc just makes me cry instantly.

    Mindi dear
Oh that was such a sweet post!
I cry every time folks achieve something!
When my children walked up the stage to receive their diplomas I choked up, talking to myself, "my baby...I am so proud of him..."
When I watch programs on how people achieve great things after struggling much - about the neurologist who performed a 20+ hour surgery separating twins attached at the head, about the football player who was adopted by a Caucasian family....so many things.
Movies? Yes I cry there too...knowing fully well most are fiction.
Just as your daughter says...it is reflex action :)
