lost weight without the intention of losing it !!!

    I n the month of Novemeber, around the last week my leg got fractured and i was bed ridden. Every my needs were met by my MIL. She is a very hard working person.She has grown a lot of plants all around the house. So after giving me the breakfast at 8.30 she would be busy with her plants. After all the outside works
    (like cleaning the pots , pruning the plants, watering etc.) we will have the meals at 2' o clock and the evening we will have tea with some snacks like two biscuits, some rusks or bread no oily snacks, the supper will be at 8.30. In between the breakfast , lunch and supper i used to feel very hungry but i never wanted to disturb her by bringing me snacks or so to satisfy me. so i started to withstand this hunger, after 2 or 3 weeks i lost the " in between appetite" ( which i had nurtered till my fracture).After December I rejoined my job. To my surprise each colleague told me that i have become slim, that evening i checked my weight it was 60kg !!!! ( i was 68 kg). Even now i continue the same routine but only a change only 2 meals a day , For breakfast I take 1 glass of milk and any fruit ( one apple , one banana or few grapes like that )
    In the after noon only on cup of rice and one cup of vegetables, in the evening one cup of tea alone. In the evening fruits alone, No snacks , no pastries nothing like that . This is March i have again lost 3 kg. If we decide we can control our appetite , Now i feel very lively, no much sweating like i had before and i could wear my favorite outfits ,Before slimming my face was puffy now the skin is tight, i love that look. , feel younger.

    In short if you have a strong will you can control your urge to eat junk food ,which i loved a lot

    I shared this just to motivate my dear IL friends

    Thanks for sharing . Every time i feel like controlling the "in-between appetite" .

    Thanks for that post...truly inspiring. You didnt fall back on your old habits...it is really hard to fight that urge. Keep it up !

    Dear Divya, you made me laugh .... but of course you can eat , just eat low calorie food like fruits, carrot, salads etc.

    True dear, now i have lost the desire to eat lots and lots of snacks and all that. Even if i eat a little i feel satisfied after this incident

    Dear Priya,
    Thanks for sharing your weight loss success story. Today I feel so bad of me becoz of over weight. Your story is a good lesson for me that is cutting down in between appetite is great idea. I must do. Thanks once again.

    thanks everybody, try never to eat pastries, potato chips (though my favorite i don't eat them now a days). fried items like bajji, doughnuts etc. I loved all these things very much .The very thought of eating them used to fill my mouth with water but now even if they are in front of me i can't eat even a single one , i think my stomach might have shrunken???????.My DH used to bring me all these food items now he too doesn't eat such things. He too have lost weight !!!!
