Any reply would be highly appreciated
GIS is best international school in Singapore as I know.. Options are good in Singapore but not so much to explore here....very small country...
Hi Ananya, SG is a nice place to live and I hope you enjoy it a lot. Now for your queries, a. Work Options: Job opportunities are good, but the only catch is now the SG gov is tightening is policies for foreign workers. So getting a job on DP (Dependent Pass) is much more difficult. Best thing to do would be to secure a job in SG and then come over with an EP (Employment Pass). b. Cost of Living: This is very subjective as something expensive to one may not be so for another. mmm.. on an average, housing (2 bed room) is currently $2000 - 2600, food, travel, entertainment, misc will cost close to $2000+. Again these may differ from person to person. c. Schools: You have to option for going to Indian international schools, PCF (gov kindergarten), and private kindergartens. You can find a list of kindergartens in MOE website and you can find the fee structure in the individual schools website. For gov or private kindergartens, the fee will be around 300$. All the best!
