Husband says i consume!!!

    My DH told me that i consume...Am a stay-at-home-mom.....just don't know...i felt it insulting.......If one does'nt bring a pay check, does that make one a consumer...i feel horrible about myself .

    What do you consume?? Food?? His money?? Whatever it is, tell him it his duty to feed you and bear your expenses which are essential... ( I am not talking about lavish spending :p )

    Don be harsh.. Tell him in a funny way!!!

    If he still din understand, then tell him that you are feeling bad when he tells something like that... Hope he will understand...

    May be he would have just told in a funny way!!!

    Dear Memories,

    I am an engineering graduate,but preferred to stay as a home maker.I am really happy with it.

    May be your DH told that in between some argument.Don't take it seriously.

    Your DH is also a consumer.He consumes good,healthy food and there is always a person waiting for him when he comes home.

    Tell him you need a salary for cooking food and doing household chores!
    And additional bucks for any extra work!
    Is he telling this all the time?
    Is it because u r overweight and he is reprimanding?

    plan on a weekend and dont do any household chores and cooking.let him understand how the home is neat by the time he returns even when the kids scatter everything here and there..how the kitchen sink is empty, how the laundry bag is clean..also order food from outside for two days..
