I had read this article today morning and i felt sooo good...its high time that AUH opens up more Indian schools...Good for all of us...as of now i have opted for Brighriders...If a better school comes up then well u never know i might change my kid's school again
Bright Riders website is functional @ Bright Riders School Information on the website is very interesting and promising. I am looking forward to see all those promised facilities in this great new school. Good Work by the Bright Riders Management. @Dinny Are you paying the first term fees in Bright Riders on 15th Jan 2013 ?
But isn't GEMS American syllabus. And i think its toooooo costly too. Also the funny part is , I thought i would move my daughter from ICK to some British schools here where she can play and have some more activities. Now when i ask friends who have already put up their kids in these schools, the situation is - At 4 years they go to FS1 (KG1). and then they "learn" nothing (Compared to Indian schools )- Just Alphabet identification and phonics. (One week one Alphabet) and all play Here at KG1 the kids finish learning words. So this move will be a huge change for her
In British Curriculum, the kids go to FS1 (KG1) when they are 3 as on September 1st. In American curriculum, the kids go to KG1 when they are 4 as on September 1st. The Bright Riders School website is operational and the information from website is promising Bright Riders School
GEMS is run by Varkey group which is very much Indian.Schools like Modern high school in Dubai(icese syllabus) are run by GEMs
And forgot to mention Our own schools of UAE and millennium school of Dubai are all CBSE and under Gems group
from what i gathered from the articles regarding the closing of one of the gem's dubai schools, the group does not think they can feasibly run schools on moderate fees so wouldnt be surprised if the new schools are much more expensive...
